About balance
I honestly think that at this point people who are concerned about balance can just find like-minded people from the community and play a couple of private games since they can now tweak settings however they want.
funny thing is, i have found that people crying “unbalance” start to get salty when you start to buff pred in custom matches.
they want balance but don’t want to go through the trouble of testing what needs to be changed in order to obtain said balance.
TBF we shouldn’t have to.
is nearly impossible to balance a game across all the skill sets of all players. we asked for most of this and devs finally made it available for privates. at least is something.
Only thing I think should change is how loud a predator is when you are crouch walking he should be much more quieter that’s the only thing.
A. We don’t even have SBMM. Balance doesn’t even exist without that.
B. Siege does it just well.

If you’re part of a community of players with similar skill levels, just do the SBMM yourself and go for privates, there is currently no other way and its being done that way on the PCE Discord for weeks now.
Most privates there are already being played under special rules and modifiers to make games more fair and fun for everyone.
A lot of people already created great custom modes that will enable more fair or fun matches, we just need to share and play them.
Yes privates are an option. But it’s not an excuse for leaving the quick play option as complete garbage.
Of course, it’s not, and we have every right to complain here, so the devs see the feedback.

This is more or less how the game was before they started buffing FT and nerfing Pred

FT have gotten lazy with specializations, they rely too much on sniper,spotter, leader and deadly
I dont think health was lower for ft, and no, it literally was around 30% or 40% less ft damage back in the day.
Which is what I tested recently, because I always felt ever since 2.0. Came out that That’s what it used to be.
Which sounds like a lot I know, but 40% still let’s ft do decent damage with meta shit, it just makes single ft damage feel actually balanced.
Even with that much reduction a good team will still push back the pred.

But that also applies I dont remember a.i. health being lower.
oh trust me it was. They buffed it I think in the 3rd patch. They made AI stronger, deal more damage and appear in greater numbers
I’m going purely off memory, they’ve always felt annoying.
I remember them always taking the same amount of hits to kill.
However ya, I definitely felt and noticed higher numbers on average.
probably on the grunts is still the same, but the juggernauts were not that buffed. They were a lot easier to kill, specially with headshots. Given the increased weapon damage from FT and the fact that they feel stronger now, even after that, I’d say is safe to say they were buffed. Anyway, reducing FT damage and reducing AI health the same amount just seems fair.
A lot of ppl want that.

TBH most of the time they are far more lethal than most preds, lol
It makes absolutely no sense how a fucking helmet or body armor can stop a .50 cal. Unless you use perks and specializations to increase damage, you won’t 1 shot those armored ones with any weapon. And even with those, if you are far enough, they won’t go down.
To me, is absolutely ridiculous how the damage is decreased with distance against AI but against PRED is almost the same across the whole range.
