There are plenty of missions so i think there could be a sense of replayability. over 30 weapons and over 70 mods/attachments is quite a bit, I dont know how different each are but if they produce a dramatic effect then i can see replay-ability being the main pull of this game.

Yeah because the gameplay seems pretty linear and repetitive. Do the thing, fight the aliens, progress forward, do the thing, fight the aliens, etc.

4 campaigns 3 missions each with difficulty sliders lol w/ missions taking about 15 min to complete.
Aliens franchise is cursed with low faith overpriced development hell projects minus Isolation

Honestly Iâm really curious as to if we will have as good customization as PHGâs or Colonial Marines. I know the game wasnât good from the beginning but you had to admit the customization was big.
Time travel đ also then why is there 2 Dutchâs we can play old and young then! đł

Literally watching this video, as someone who has been playing souly this game for the better part of the past year, i myself got salty xD, BUT. tâs as if the Cold Iron folks had a check list of things this game didnât hit, that they made sure to cover and beat to death with a stick, in their gameplay video.
Length and number of campaigns, 30 weapons to choose from, varying levels of difficulty to include friendly fire, 20 types of xeno enemies to face, co op, solo with bots, challenge card system, class kit system. Not to mention they are expanding alien lore with this game.
Canât play as a xeno? Doesnât anyone remember left for dead? Can be added later obvs. (Still not buying this game expecting to play as xenos and crying about it)
Expectations are set out super clear as well and is being marketed as âget over it, youâre playing as FTâ, where PHG made it seem like all youâd play as is pred in their hype marketing.

Me too. I was so excited I redownloaded Aliens: Colonial Marines. DO NOT make the same mistake. As the game still sucks lol. But I am positively looking forward to this next Aliens installment after watching the gameplay video.
One can only hope we will finally get to fight against the Kenner figures of the 90s such as the Dog, Scorpion, Rhino, Snake and Mantis Aliens.
This just says that l4d is cheep even though itâs the most fun in most gaming titles, and i get aliens need to be scary but in any action game or movie this must be reduced a good bit for the action to set in as this isnât alien isolation as your more heavily armed as this is basically a call back to aliens but wr will have to wait for the game to release.
Youâre right, it just seems very repetitive so far . Itâll get figured out in a week as far as priorities for killing aliens and best builds. I could imagine it still being fun while playing with ransoms, but otherwise I think it will lack challenge.
I am biased because of pvp on this game and because of isolation. This just seems like a weeker product in terms of a challenge
