They must have changed that, because we recently tested the disk, and it did 125 on both the first hit and return.
Balance in P:HG 2.20
yeah that would have to be recent cause last i tested was waaay back in 2.04 maybe? and recall did 55 damage compared to the actual hit being the 120 or whatever is was back then
Either way its a down. I just dont recall and get hexa hits
This might be a good idea for pred co-op so FTs get a chance to play
On the FT side, I think the damage needs to be lowered significantly and the missions need to be spread across the map.
On the Predator side, I feel there needs to be a mechanism to lower the damage of the Range Weapon and allow it to interfere with the mission.
I’m all for extending the fireteam mission length. Have to extend the match length at that point too. Which is a good thing. However, it won’t make a difference if you don’t force the Predator to stop rushing straight to the fireteam.
They need an objective at the start of a match to help build the tension of the first encounter. Dropping down from the rope and then walking a quarter of a mile only to get pounced… it’s kinda stupid. I’m guilty of it, but only having done it a few times personally.
More than anything, I think they just need to add the 2v6 mode. Such a game type has loads of potential for fun. Still going to have some issues, but you can’t deny how cool it would be.
Look, the main problem with the game right now is that when FT’s Bravo player (blue) spots things, it’s not bright enough and they should use a lighter shade of blue instead.
Star citizen beta?? I hope your grandchildren will see it…
No it is 125 damage on return this guy is just an idiot trying to argue with things he thinks he knows.
Kame knows a lot. He was one of the OG testers. Unfortunately, Illfonic makes a lot of little changes without including them in patch notes. I have a website with damage and multiplier stats for weapons and perks/specializations, so we’re always trying to keep things up to date.
well I’ll be damned… you were right. Though I tested it against AI and I know saw-z hipfire against AI is not as accurate as it is against the pred, so I would have to test against real players and see if is any different.
125 is base damage. Not even headshot. You add headshot+specialization+downrange, and disk will do around 160+, not including the fact that you can recall it one second later and 99% of the time it will hit the target on its return. You will down any FT member, even a support with thick skin.
I told you.
I ain’t got no reason to lie man.
However I know the sniper will always go to the same spot so, hip firing and quick scoping will work work with that.
I’ve seen a few Elder Stalkers exclusively using the disc the entire match. They opt for bear traps to boot. It’s not even worth staying in the match, if they’re good with the disc. There is literally no way you can put up a fight against it. It’s the equivalent of death squads, in my opinion. I’d rather just leave the match after death and queue for something else.
The disk can’t headshot I tested it out several times
And no it won’t hit the target on return 50% of the time let alone 99%
The disk has been a 2 shot down to any ft the entire time it’s existed. It’s the hardest weapon to use and the easiest to dodge.
It honestly worked for me before, so I am not sure what’s happening. Maybe Valkyrie before patch 2.19? dunno… but I swear to god I had no problem doing plasma shots without mask
Curiously though, through my testing, dunno if it was the weapon switching of bow and disc, but the triangle reticle appeared again, even though I had no mask
If I felt stubborn or just wanted to say fuck you to the ft. I would shoot then with the pc, but again, it’s not like I always lost my mask.
But when I did, I would be like 3 shots before one flew remotely close to the center.
If its random tho, which I Feel it is, you probably got lucky and they all flew straight.
Given this game, I Can absolutely see that Happening.
