Yeah you’re probably right, I’ve had games too where I’ve 2 teamed a predator, I read somewhere that maybe we haven’t found a way to counter it yet, I’ll keep playing and doing some testing. Might just be a losing streak like you said.
Doubt I’ll stop playing, rewatched and finished watching all the movies with my brother and he enjoys it a lot too so it’s a great way to bond. Loving the game a lot through all its bugs.
Good hunting mate, hope the streak ends, those wins are tough to get but really feel great. Here’s to hoping they balance the game more so we don’t get stuck with meta builds, gets so boring so fast.
I actually found the Berserk + combi the only way to play him. You cant play him ranged cause of his size he moves to slow and is just way to big to not notice. But on my zerker i even run combi/ net gun with Impenetrable,fearless, and hanging on. So i have even more tankyness then normal and even that was hard to heal with parring fire teams. Had 2 of them just running around with there knife out when they seen how I’m melee build. i would pull the stick out and they would run to me with knifes out. while the others would light me up. Even if i managed to kill 1 or 2 and quick claim they would be right back in a min cause the reinforcement call in. To which i would lose cause they would just finish the objective and evac out. So when playing with evenly matched players who know how to play the predator also I lose. So i dont see a meta at call. I actually have more wins as my scout+bow+ SC build with down range, lightbender, and energy cell. All i do is jump from tree to tree getting different angles and kill them. Find the sniper if there is one and take him out fast and the rest is easy. I wont even claim them some times just finish them off. So beserker is fine imo.
Get rid of the knife and give the fire team primary secondary and a sidearm. We’ve been discussing the issue on another thread. Lots of salt. Not saying I have answers, just think that there needs to be a better class system, with the classes actually getting a perk or two just for them. Example, scout is quieter and more deadly with bow e.g. one hit downs or headshot kills. Hunter gets tree rope traps to hang fire team upside down, berserker gets rage or something along those lines.
It’s only been 4 days. We all have great hopes for the game. Fingers crossed the devs are reading all this and know we’re thanking them for a good platform to start with.
Fire teams should be limited on weapons per class so it’s not just a mini gun/grenade launcher fest with 20 health packs total.

I’d have to disagree, I’ve been having great success as a hunter with a bow and a combi stick combination, with traps he’s especially lethal. The parrying makes the fireteam able to at least fend off the insanely powerful combi stick, which is definitely needed, trust me as a predator all you need to do is wait for one to get caught off guard, if you have a combi stick it won’t matter if you’re a hunter or a berserker, you’ll get them unless they’re a wizard at parrying.
It’s difficult when your PS4 is barely managing 6 frames per second, regardless it doesn’t matter how good they are at parrying, without help they’re done for.

Zerk and combi combo is busted anyone telling you they stomp him by parrying is liein threw there teeth and full of shit sorry but I’ve done this it doesn’t work the knife rarely parries the combie only about 20% of the time , a zero can jump down on all 4 fire team members off RIP uncloaked with air also shooting him and still down all 4 within seconds and yall asking for a pred damage buff? Yeah, I’ve had to sit through quite a few really boring matches like that…luckily they usually only last a minute or two.

Yeah, I’m already feed up with games that end 30 seconds after they start because the berserker went all…well, berserk and just rushes the team. Parry kinda works but it’s also annoying and I think they’re toying with it only negating some of the damage, if that’s the case they’ll still need to address the berserker. And if you’re playing with randos who don’t headset then you can;t really coordinate to bring him down.
I’ve seen the Hunter successful with the same nonsense as well.

Combi stick dont do spit against a squad that whips out the ultimate weapon. The 30 dollar cabela knife. If you’re having trouble parrying just stab at him. The damage is unreal, and your squad mates will burst him into second wind with their stabs. Its no contest.

What I want is the Pred not to wipe a fireteam 30 seconds into the match. I don’t want either side to be able to do that. BTW I play the Predator more than the fireteam…
