Those protagonists are few and far between the rest of others who have encountered the Predator.
The Predator isn’t bulletproof sure but they are more naturally resistant, surviving or killing the Predator should be an thrilling extreme stroke of luck or skill and that is lost if all you gotta do is bumrush with a shotgun Leeroy Jenkins style to kill him.
When a Predator has died to a human it’s always been through outsmarting them or sheer tenacity but here, just throw on the extra damage perk and gun him down.

I mean, then how was it like for every single other game? AVP? Gun or Alien. AVP2? Gun or Alien. AVP3? Gun or Alien. Movies and Games are obviously going to be different, although the homage is appreciated.

Just finished my match. The whole fire team was using a mini guns on me wtf I thought those where balanced I barely won with those broken odds. The wrist blades are a joke might as will give me unlimited plasma shots. They need to withdraw that bs balance patch cause now you created a minigun meta. I’m a level 7 pred with barely anything to even out the fight.
Yeah it’s a good thing that leveling you speak of doesn’t also make the Fireteams stronger. Oh wait…
the past two times ive played as fireteam i literally take out my knife if the predator comes close. cant hit me because the melee is broken and i take him out with like 5 hits. its dumb

Anyone play the predator side mission in Tom Clancys Wildlands? He was a fucking menace to be dealt with. No camparison to the way i feel playing him in this game

The predator is powerful enough. They just need to make them stealthier. Less noticeable cloak and quieter footsteps, especially when walking. At this point if you have a decent headphone you’ll be able to pinpoint where they are at all times.
There seems to be a mechanic that makes you completely invisible if you stay still for a period of time, this needs to be shortened.
Okay number 1 AVP movies are not canon.
Number 2 how dare you acknowledge the existence of the second one.
Number 3 even if they were Canon it one only prove the point cuz those Predators got more roughed up than the Predators in the original 2 films.
I think everyone calling for a buff or nerf, needs to put your time played, rank and load outs used. I’m not saying what people are claiming is false and there very well may need to be some balancing done, but I think the majority of you complaining the Pred is severely weak are just not that good yet. I get it I get it, “git gud”, but remember the Predator plays his own way, the fire team plays like any random FPS. Ppl are naturally going to be more skilled playing as the FT vs players using Predator. The games been out for 2 damn days.
I made an account just to say that the predator is far too weak. Like I love this game but when the fire team can avoid my attacks and leave me wide open then annihilate me it would be nice to not have to hit them 7 times… nothing much just like up the damage or make the attacks less easy to avoid

I mean, you ever hear of the planned ending for The Predator? Alien was going to tie into it anyway plus with AVP 1 Elder Predator’s/Lex’s Combi-Stick being in the movie, jury’s still out on that one chief.
Besides that, AVP Predators or Extended Universe (comics, games, crossovers) Predators in general are characterized as beefy (in terms of durability) Doomguy like badasses. Canon Movie Predators are methodical hunters who utilize guerilla tactics to wear down their prey. To put this into perspective, if I remember correctly, Jungle Hunter had to heal himself after the Ol’ Painless scene, right?

The predator is weak, low dmg, low health (1 fireteam guy with a shotgun removed 75% health) spotting is bs. And if you aren’t spotted they can still find you while you are cloaked.
I believe you may be right for saying Fireteam is the better choice for grinding, but for the wrong reason. Devs took out the ability to see/grab money drops for Predator Players. Not exactly sure why, but yea.
Also Berserker is really broken rn my dude.
In 2 days, I reached 51 levels ( I know that I play a lot) from about 15 games for the predator, 2-3 wins. I tried different strategies and weapon combinations. The team completes the task in 4-5 minutes, so you have to act. The javelin and the Yauja shooter are normal weapons, but the dude javelin opens at level 42, and I find that a normal weapon compared to a minigun doesn’t sound convincing. Playing as a predator is not interesting. Jumped into a tree, tried to escape, finished all the first-aid kits, successful detonation. ALL THE GAME. And maybe once in 7-8 games there will be quite fools who will run in different directions and you will kill them, although one stormtrooper with a machine gun takes a lot of health.Forecast either in the near future, no one will want to play for the predator, or even in this game. If they don’t correct the balance and give people their content for pre-ordering , by the way, they didn’t give it to me either . Minigun opens at level 68 , I have 17 levels left before it, I hope I get some compensation for not getting my things in time
