I switch to underbarel, pop it, switch back to auto, have 40 bullets in it and the gun won’t fire at all, I switch to SMG, 40 bullets in it, SMG won’t fire. Then I have to pop my weapon wheel, switch to knife, switch back to any gun and then it fires as it should.
It’s very annoying.

I reported some bugs and exploits and they were actually fixed. Some of them were fixed with the next patch, while some others, it took them a few months.

You know the irony of it? I used to have that bug from months ago, but it got worse when they tried to fix the “weapon switch animation cancel” from pred.

Legitimately never seen or even heard of this bug until today. Never had it myself, never even seen anything like it in game. Maybe it’s something with your own input set up?
I don’t have those, I run an aimbot like every other pro out there.
I’ve already documented the bug. It happens on console now too. Very easy to replicate. Just hit quick melee and quickly try to switch your weapon. On PC happens a lot because the quick melee is the Middle click and the weapon switch is the mouse wheel. Very easy to roll the wheel when you press the middle button and … voilá… instabug
It’s the game, I had the same bug on my laptop and on my new desktop PC, reinstalled the game, deleted the loadouts folder and it’s still happening.
Some of my friends have it too, it’s not uncommon bug.

Because I had changed my MMB to something else because specifically of this attack feature.And yet I did post a Bug Report about it like a year ago, i quickly adapted my key binds to avoid it. and Im happier now.
No. It is very well documented. Posted here a few times. Other people have reported it as well. If you’ve never “heard of it” … either you don’t play that much or don’t read a lot of stuff posted here
I did came up with a solution. Posted it here. Is a macro. Basically introduce a delay to the mouse wheel so when you roll it accidentally it doesn’t activate right away. Works most of the time, but I still get it sometimes

I perscribe MMB to a different function altogerh. Like throwing the grenade. I turn of mouse scroll OFF altogether.
is a bug. there’s no reason why activating two functions at the same time should leave you in a bugged out state. there’s no reason for them not to fix it either.
every other fucking game has melee on the middle click… but I crouch with the space bar, so don’t give me shit about what bindings I decide to use.

@JelouGaming it happens to me too and my melee function is on the side button of my mouse, so yeah, like you said, 2 actions = bug.

I did this specifically to avoid that bug and it seems to work.
Haven’t had the no fire glitch since I mapped melee to the thumb. I miss a lot of parries and look like I’m having a seizure but, no bug

is not the binds, is the functions. You can bind the weapon switch to U and then remap your mouse wheel to U, and it still happens…
that actually reminded me of another bug. Right now, whenever I play with a party, the game (on both steam and epic) stops detecting the mouse wheel during a match. It works perfectly fine in the menus. So I had to go in and rebind weapon switch to U and J and remap my mouse wheel to U and J. Fucking great. Bug fixed in matches but now I can’t use the mouse wheel in the customization menu… absolutely beautiful
