Oh, I’ve been reading your guides, bro. I’m already a fan of your work. I’m gonna watch those videos after work. Thanks man. The community has always spoken highly of you, and I can see why
Could someone please expain the pros and cons of each predator?
Awesome. Thanks. Hope you enjoy the game. Lots of flaws, but there’s a core element that’s unique and engaging.

Con: Lowest health, less melee damage, Low gear if you like traps or motion sensors with audio decoys
Alpha
Con: Lowest energy reserve with medium energy regeneration

Valk

Elder:
Pro: high energy, Stalker spec, perk points, gear points
You’re right.
I’ve found the most success with builds that allow plenty of mobility for hit and run with maximum damage output. So usually hunter scout or alpha with damage based specialization and perk paired with adrenal. Third perk is usually modified reserve. Damage perk depends on weapons. If I’m running disk it’s going to be down range. Combi gets down range too for the throw.
Unless the map is overgrowth or backwater. Then it’s elder stalker every time. Bow disk modified reserve down range height advantage. Traps and decoys. Pew pew MADDA FACKA
City have all
He has all except for all the unique stats and specializations of the other classes.
Lately I’ve been running a lot of Viking. Its a total potato masher. Last night I downed three out of four, quick-claimed them all while the fourth watched and fruitlessly shot at me with his shotgun. The damage output with Viking coupled with Fearless and the Sickle is insane, add to the base tankiness without Impenetrable. I still get decently melted from time to time, but Viking is perfect for running in, downing one, claiming, and leaping out. I run Medic, Adrenal and Fearless for mine. Also, don’t ever use the axe or hammer. I can’t tell you how many Preds I’ve downed simply by sidestepping out of the way and unloading my clip. I mean, if you don’t care about winning and just want to troll, by all means, axe it up. You might get some OHKOs. But swinging those things around leaves you incredibly vulnerable.
Elder Stalker is another main, for obvious reasons. Its my meme build, so I don’t play with disc but rather bow and plasma pistol. Medic, Modified Reserve and either Downrange or Dithered Lens for perks.
I’ve dabbled with Scouts, mostly Ghost and Disciplined. My playstyle seems to be more aggressive, so the hit and run is exciting but not quite my thing.
Keep in mind, all of this is subjective. If you have a good Fireteam, you’re gonna get spotted and shot at, a lot. I’ve lost games as Elder Stalker and Viking, despite their “OP-ness”. FT will always have the advantage, its up to you as to how smart you are in using your build to overcome that.
I really wish they didn’t make the meme sickle the strongest melee weapon for the predators. They nerfed katana, but haven’t really touched the elder sword, or done anything to improve the warclub, hammer or axe.
Try Valk Fervent with DR, Imp and faster energy regen. Bow and Disc.
Thank me later.
It’s so cute seeing ppl talk about pred classes as if theres any actual difference lmao.
Eh they’re more like variations of the same class but within the context of this game they’re technically classes.
I don’t have Valk
Fuck you, no.
Go play a real game.
And you know what tf different classes look like you’ve played mass effect damn it.
Hah yu fkn noob.
The only difference I see on classes between this game and others is the lack of weapon/perk/gear lock.
Though a lot of games out there have different “classes” (or characters, whatever) and you can still use whatever perks/cards/bonuses/weapons you want.
