Epic accounts are a pain in the ass , the only way I can work out how to add someone was adding them through fortnite , ive no idea why predator doesn’t give you the option to manage friends in the menus

I know , I only have it for when I helped my son with videos and played the odd bit , at least it usually works when you want to play though

Yeah , top notch 🤣 . It would make sense to have the ability to add people on hunting grounds , but its probably just something else that wouldn’t work half the time

I think they also might have removed the ability to message friends through Epic games the past few weeks when they removed the ability to have the friends list open as a separate window, so Epic isn’t exactly handling things great on the PC side either.

I think mass said they removed whisper? Is that like party chat? And I said it wouldn’t work half the time , apparently alot of people had to re-link epic and psn as it was causing hunting grounds to not log in properly and the top 3 menu slots weren’t working . Illgonic gonna illgonic i guess , do you know if I buy an epic games game , can I launch it through steam? I was going to buy hitman 3 but I use steam link so I can use my controller through my phones Bluetooth. I didn’t want to buy it and then maybe not be able to use steam

whisper was just the ability to message your friends on epic games. it didn’t even have a party feature, it was just 1-to-1 chat between friends.

Ah I see , do you know an answer to the last bit of my comment above? Are games locked to epic games launcher if purchased through them

I can’t answer confidently because I know that yes, you could launch it through steam but I don’t know if it would be compatible with steam link. I’ll link this video to give you 2 minutes of entertainment to satisfy my inability to answer your question:
