Same, though not as much as I used to. Changes to the balance and spotting gear/perks available to the FT have resulted in me being a bit more ruthless in my approach.
I had that in one hunt on Monday.
While I killed one of the last two survivors I hear from another “I will hide in my corner and cry”. Okay, I thought he may be close, cause I was able to hear him quite clearly.
Turned on vision mode and low and behold, he used the smoke + thermal grenade combo to block my vision. Little did he thought about the red diamond that appeared as I got close enough to him.
I pulled out the bow, shot and switched out of vision mode. I than hear while I long claimed him. “Holy smokes, that scared the shit out of me.” I ask “Why?” And he tells me this: “I saw your eyes flash through the smoke the moment I got downed by the arrow. That was scary as hell.”
Really would have loved to see that from his perspective. Sounded like a pretty little jump moment he got there.
Best Match for me is when one is alive and wants a Knife fight!
I had some nice 1 vs 1 Fights with very good FT Fighters who are good with the knife. Of course I beat all of them but it makes so much Fun. I dont understand when some people are camping in a building until the time is running out. In this way you cant win therefore go out and fight with the Predator.
I do that all the time to all FT members! Usually I get killed though…
Things ppl fail to see when playing pred in this game, sure if 1 guy gets out its declared as “FT win”.
BUT
Dutch was traumatized for the better part of 30 years after one instance with the Predator. That it has lead to a almost “living to kill the preds” mentality.
I try to allow this feeling of “sticking your hand in a meat grinder, but being happy you still have your thumb left”.
Also making the team question why I let them go. Some teams will joke around and saycthe last guy wasn’t worthy of the claim. That’s awesome imo. People actively role-playing and having fun in a game.
