Does anyone prefer new preds over new FT
Agree - what we need is already in game.
What we can get is different armour types for the preds we already have. It would be awesome if we could create every member of Lost Tribe using just City Hunter as base.
Swappable wristblades and Plasmacasteres with their backpacks would also compliment that.
EDIT: In fact, I would not mind if those armour types be some sort of micro transactions in game - probabmy would not be to expensive, and provided income from game to Illfonic
Preds cuz that’s what this game was supposed to be about now give me the preds in AVP, Predators and hell the comics to!

TLDR: FT for playability, Pred for eye candy.
I think on the FT side the classes better difference themselves because different styles of play are still effective. The only really unique playable Pred DLC has been Valkryie imo because she really is a perfect build for hit and run style. Scout too squishy for it and Hunter just a bit too slow to be effective but Valkryie nails it perfect without being OP.
Elder has only really become a huge standout with Specializations, and Alpha just feels like a slightly thicker scout. City Hunter tweaks are so minor from Hunter now, and your forced to carry the wrist launcher that has no positive affect on play style. Viking and Samurai are just a Zerkers with minor tweaks. Visually I think they’re all phenomenal but they play the same way as the three default classes.
Where as the Dutches, Dante, OWLF and now Isabelle definitely have a whole different feel and playstyle too them. That’s even without taking Specializations into consideration, they just have a different feel and style to them and are more unique than their pred counterparts.
I’m still in the camp where all DLC classes should have been cosmetics/skins that fit within the base classes. All DLC classes should have come with unique voice lines that make them stand out but overall don’t affect gameplay. As it stands though I don’t really care because I’ll just end up using scout anyway.
Well if they’d do Fugitive we’d have a gadget centric Predator and even have more ranged options. Cause seriously, the one film they don’t want to pull from has everything we’ve been asking for save speargun.

They just need to make the Pred Dlc slightly better version than of the base three. Im tired of Pay to win players who then complain after the Dlc pred gets nerfed to where they should be!

When CH and Valk and even Alpha came out they were either equal or massively better than the base 3. The valk in particular was a huge pay to win class for a I think a month? Now she is in a good spot of being slightly better than the base 3!

All I want is more movie skins. In my opinion They have given more then enough custom skins/classes that they have created. Besides city hunter unless you pre-ordered jungle hunter which I did and some others obviously did too. There is only 2 movie classes with their respective masks. in this game. Which definitely isn’t enough. But I would absolutely love playing as scar celtic tracker falconer My personal all time favorite wolf. With their own respective classes and masks together.
All of the power creep classes were literally a bit stronger
Sure the stat boosts were huge but that meant little in the long run

All DLC is far too shallow
Predators should come with new primary/secondary weapons as well as new gear and specializations
I feel like newer Predators should have different applications of gear rather than just new gear.
What I mean is you take the plasmacaster for example and you change how it works. You add it to the weapon pool and you choose the different functionality. Nobody who plays ranged needs two melee weapon options. And frankly nobody who runs melee needs two melee options when you’re going to engage with one or the other as a primary. So instead tweak existing weapons like with the shoulder cannon.
- a gun that slows targets
- a gun that mortars targets
- a gun that sets areas on fire
- a gun that is a beam
- add a second gun
By doing something like this you change how players react to Predator just like specializations do. You don’t know what kind of Jungle Hunter you’re fighting until you check the scoreboard. Likewise you don’t know if they’re a beam user or a Predator that wants to mortar you into oblivion skull be damned until they open fire. Just a simple change and Predator could block paths if you don’t have enough health to run through the fire or perhaps creating an improvised DOT.
You can even do this with wrist blades to a lesser degree;
- longer which have more range
- heated which do more damage (you can pair that one in particular with a perk)
Like I don’t need another melee weapon that’s just as useful as the several others because at that point it just becomes variants. What flavor of pointy stick do I want? Instead tweak the existing system.
