Honestly they really should change it so 2025 has Longer Mud Duration & Less Damage whilst Muddied up, whilst 87 has Hipfire Accuracy & Hipfire Damage. Feels weird that they’re split up so oddly between the two when 2025 should be the Stealth Tank whilst 87 is the run & gun DPS.

But Dutch in movie used stealth so it makes sense they make it like armor in the game I’m just wondering why Dutch has auto muddy up but no amphibious like Dutch 1987

Dutch 87 in this game I get the feeling is meant to be First Act version of himself. Since ya know, he still has his gun and all his clothes. He’d still be relying upon traditional weaponry & military training. Whereas 2025 has spent decades hunting Yautja and gotten very proficient at stealth, subterfuge & trickery.

Yeah but they didn’t look very stealthy in the movie with all the explosions and mowing down the jungle with more bullets than God. They weren’t spec ops, they were just macho men with guns and lots of bullets.

So now we know it’s makes him mud up quicker does this mean I need the muddy up perk to keep it on longer even though that’s what his passive was supposed to do 😔
No you just stack it and get double the effect.

But his passive says duration it’s trickery, people are thinking they are going to be muddy longer but it just lasts as much as normal, I shouldn’t have to stack out of a lie 😭
His passive says mud cover duration but it’s legit just Pig In Shit. So you can put the actual Pig In Shit Perk on him to double the effect. It’s the same with Recon. Throw Dexterous on top of that and you muddy up on him & Recon in 1 second. The only way to actually avoid being Sound Isolated at the start of the match, incredibly useful for Stealth Ops Premades.

this game “stealth” gameplay is far from entertaining and rewarding. I have no idea why would anyone bother playing like that.
AI will spawn on your back and always give away your position no matter how stealthy you try to play. Once that happens, any Pred that you would want to play stealthy against will find you.
Then of course, even if you manage to finish the whole boring mission without waking up AI and go totally under the radar of the Pred, then you have a big indicator telling your location where any good pred will go there and bye bye everyone, because now you have to battle a horde of grenade launching AI and plasma shooting alien.
Maps like Airstrip and Excavation are nearly impossible to win by exfil against a good pred because of the insane amount of AI at exfil
My man. You gotta understand. There is a unique satisfaction, even as someone who mainly plays Pred, to 4-stack Recons or OWLF with buddies and just mud up in 1 second right out of the chopper so the initial Sound Iso fails for Pred, then slowly sneak you way up the map as a unit, silently taking out everything you can and hearing a very confused & annoyed pred rush around you and through the trees deseperately wondering where the hell Fireteam is.
One time, we were on Overgrowth running Stealth Ops and had been clearing out the base near the big ruins and the river bridge. The Predator landed right on top of a roof directly above us, we were all crouched and hidden under the sides of said building, apart from one of us who was near a tree. And then the Pred hopped down and stared STRAIGHT in the direction of our friend but due to him being a Recon Spotter with Pig in Shit & Ice Cold, with full Woodland camo on EVERYTHING, he couldn’t see shit and just ran off to keep on looking for us.
Hell it’s even worked in solo QP. I was grinding out a Destroy Mask challenge about 4 weeks ago with that same Recon build, and Silent perk with silencers on all my weapons. I perched up on ridges overlooking the small drug village on Derailed as my team did the mission and single-handedly kept the Pred out of the village entirely by routinely sniping him out of the trees and then destroying his Bio-Mask, all with him none the wiser to where he was being shot from or who was shooting him.
Immensely satisfying.
