Analytic and Stalker give around 15%, pretty sure I tested that when the specs were added. Or have you tested that recentely too ? I never managed to one shot with the combi at a 150 hp class that was almost full hp, usually following the throw with a wristblade attack or arrow shot was necessary to down Assaults, Operatives without thick skin in most of the footage I have available to check. Being able to have the damage boost from those specs with a quick suprise combi throw that is the only way that can work isn’t that simple. Besides all the fireteam needs is a Support and the damage resistance will prevent one shots, unless they have 125 hp.

There is a bug regarding combi throws that can one shot anyone, once I was one shotted while having 193 hp. I checked a recent match now of a combi throw I received vs Thunderwolf with downrange only and it did 99 damage. I had thick skin and owlf trained. I am available to test stuff like that if you need.

Everybody that is good playing as both FT and Predator agrees that when they go as FT they have a much easier time. That is on matches we do vs each other, no pubs vs randoms, its only hard as FT if there are players on different levels. Its not just in regards to balance, but also bunch of bugs or game mechanics that gets you killed over it that affect Predators performance more.

But the damage is way higher now. Still I was refering more to the period between the time they fixed the cloak until specializations were added, I didn’t get much experienced vs pc premades back when the cloak didnt work.

its not higher at all. when the game first came out you could one shot anyone with a plasma and down a whole team with a combi stick. If your saying higher for FT… sure

No I mean the Fireteam damage. Yes combistick could do more damage back then, also bow headshots. But I think around the period I mentioned the charged plasma shots would cost more energy than they do now. At that period the damage of fireteam weapons, disk and plasma were lower. So weapons like bow and combi could be more usefull.

before nobody wanted to even try to knife a pred. then the patches started rolling. Which I can understand for the casual gamer not on a team going vs a really good pred sux knowing its literally you vs them

Its really not made to be competitive but if people want to make it like that, the comparison must be done by putting players in the same situation and comparing their performances. Meaning evaluating their performance as both FT and Pred. If one can’t do better than the Predator they defeated if they were playing on his place it doesn’t mean anything competitive wise. And vice versa.

Good point.
Stats based competition is logical.
But what do you call our game though?
I explained it clearly as something that is unusually unbalanced between controls/platform. So what is it were dealing with?

Sure between ps vs pc the comparison between players wouldn’t be fair. I was merely pointing that to those that take this game on the competitive level for some reason, its not by winning vs the other side that matters but outperforming their opponents on each side that they play.

This game is a Demon.

Must have done something wrong in the first test and accidentally did a headshot… still…

From 150HP to 2HP with stalker/downrange so. Yeah, stalker is 20% and combi headshot is 112HP

I also prefer to do damage tests on my own. I can run the game on steam and epic at the same time and have a clear view of what is what and make a fair comparison. If you do testing with someone else you rely on that person’s honesty… and nothing personal, but when I test for damage numbers I trust no-one but myself, because time after time you guys show you are more inclined to make it look like FT is OP and Pred is not, when that’s not the reality, IMO.

Way too many people have given wrong damage numbers and is always to try and make look Pred underpowered.

Have you tested the damage with weapons like bow or plasma? Just quick shots, they should do 70 and 50 with downrange + stalker boost on the body. Maybe combi throws were shadow buffed recentely, or just the headshot damage. Feel like we have to constantly test things like that cus it can changed at any time. I heard people say they feel quick shots with plasma are doing less damage now.

On testing stuff like that I usually like to record and can upload for anyone to see my pov.

You still can’t see the other person’s screen, their loadout, hp numbers, etc.

Last time I tested combi throw it was 117HP for a headshot. That was way back then before specializations for either

Yes that is right, base fully charged bow headshot is same as direct fully charged plasma shot so 120, with downrange and Stalker should do 150. I have video of me getting one shotted like that, side by side:
