You can get either of them. You will easily find a 120hz gaming monitor but as of now, monitors are limited to HDMI 2.0 only. If you want 4K 120FPS gaming, that is possible only via HDMI 2.1 which is available on TVs.

Nah im a neck beard lol!!!

I do however play most of of my games on my 75 inch QLED curved tv.

The monitor is for when the wifey wants to watch tv which is if we are off during the day together lol!

Sounds like a beauty , I have a 55" . But it isn’t hdr and 60hz max refresh rate , I didn’t really think too much about specs etc when I got it though .

Curved tvs would be strange to use I think?

Idk the specs could care less. Never cared much about them. Its the consumer virus that runs through most of us!

I do read reviews tho. I guess my tv is HDR cause when I play any of my games it switches to HDR from the regular settings it has on it.

I do however have my ps5 settings tuned correctly to maximize the graphics on more demanding games like Assassins Creed and Maneater. Cant wait to see Mass Effect Remastered on it. I’ll probably have to buy new eyes cause the beauty of it is gonna blind me!

If you want to run ps5 at max potential

1st you need a 120 hz tv , max fps on ps5 is 120 hz due to the output max being 120

2nd you run the games at 1080p to increase frames per sec

3rd Only buy a quality tv like samsung or sony… hdr

Dont go cheap… youll be disappointed.

“120hz” TVs are actual scams

a 120hz tv is just a 60hz with interpolation. they’re allowed to get away with simulating frames for some reason and pretend they’re monitors.

If you’re gonna play in 4K just stick to 60hz because consoles don’t have what it takes to push truly maxed out graphics at 4K anyway. You would need at least a RTX 3080 to push 4K games at high refresh rate.

Console 4K gaming is a joke. You’re better off pairing a PS5 with a high refresh rate monitor at 1080p.

or just wait till the implement mouse and keyboard and play on a monitor…IPS is the best inmo…
I have an IPS at 240hz… I can play apex at 270
