or the most damage resist (dutch 87, thick skin, owl) and just engage. FT damage is so high you are likely to survive any potato pred anyway
I’ve been running loadouts with the qr4 and grimtech and even with suppressors, the guns are so accurate you still deal a lot of damage

Why reckless opposed to deadly?
Reckless is technically way more useful because it increases ALL damage, not just Assault Rifles, and even if you take just 1 point of damage, you get the buff for 45 seconds.
gearhead is better than thick skin IMO
But it depends on the class and pred you are facing.
Against those preds who like to do the elder/stalker meta to oneshot using the disc or plasma, thick skin is more viable with most classes so you don’t get one shot.
I still prefer to use thick skin combined with OWLF for those cases, and for the rest just go with Gearhead for that extra syrette, ammobag or grenade
And never waste a gear slot on the self revival, ever. Is way too situational. Until they reduce the animation time, for me, is unusable. Most preds will claim you or shoot yoy before you have a chance to use it. And if your teammates are near, then there’s no need for you to use it. Specially with a field medic on the team
I always passed it cuz I figured it’s better to have an inherently passive perk than one you need to take damage in order to activate. If that 45 second time frame is accurate I see your point. Wonder if it applies to fall damage lol
It does. Any form of damage procs the buff. So you can purposely activate it with fall damage.

Thick skin is just better against better players. Against ok players, yeah more heals more frags awesome. Very good players, you need higher health to not get 1 or 2 shot. And I can kill ok players with this build easily as well. So I just stay with the overall better build.
I also run Bane OWLF Assault sometimes as well for max damage
Bane is one perk I find myself using less and less.
Against potato preds is overkill and against good preds you are far better off with perks like double time, owlf and thick sin because you want to avoid or resist damage
Been running hammerhead and grimtech with supressors and weapons training and the accuracy of those weapons like that is insane. I can land 10-12 shots in one second and do more damage than the gosl-r and 1011 without those. Even the qr4 with bb gun recoil is absurd.
And when you play drunk (me 90% of the time) it just works better, lmao
6 points for a measly 10% damage boost just makes Yautja’s Bane less & less viable every month in my mind. The only 6 point perk really worth it for FT is Sixth Sense and even that is ONLY useful if you know you’re going up against a Pred that carries & relies upon bear traps for their game plan like Dan3800. Perks like Thick Skin or Gearhead are way more important than Yautja’s Bane.

Sixth Sense can shut down some very specific playstyles entirely used by a lot of the high tier Preds. Tracker just gets on your nerves.

Disagree. It’s still very strong. Thick skin is better I agree, but I definitely won’t say it’s not like the second best perk in the game
Playing solo as FT is like being kicked in the nuts every 5 minutes.
You should be able to carry no matter how bad your team is tbh.
