How do I fight the FT as Predator?

Not every match is a sweat fest. Let’s actually try to help predator players play better. Even if they don’t always win, it’s still better than having no clue what tactics are actually effective against most teams.

No problem pal. I often refer ppl to your page. Myself and many others still think its a scandal that a member of community had to create a website with all the figures and stats - its Illfonics job to test it and tell us all that! But on the other hand you’ve made it so professionally, I honestly don’t believe Illfonic would match up to that. Best source of info about the game on Internet. Thanks for that!

Anyone find it weird Illfonic wont even list accurate numbers or numbers at all? Like what does a bar tell someone regarding how much health someone has to another? Like we’re talking about inaccurate stats for Isabelle but what does that bar even say? A more accurate way of doing this is enabling the players to view stats with numbers to get a better idea of how to build classes because saying a weapon that does 30 damage that does 40 with perks means more than a bar slightly becoming bigger. I’m just saying is that the stat page could use a rework so we’re not relying on a community guide or people looking into the files to see passives and the like.

Well, I am having alot of fun just goofing off with teams that aren’t try hard. I even let the last one live after playing around for a while. lol

The only one I can think of is the standard revive time. 5 seconds is way too long. Field Medic is like 1 second, so obviously that’s too fast. Illfonic needs to find a happy medium there.

The interaction times in general are too long, even with dexterous. Field medic almost feels like a hack lmao. What a crock of shit.

What perks are useless as a predator? I.E, how useful is the Impentrable/fearless/downrange and other perks that cost alot of points to use? Are they actually GOOD or do they provide very small bonuses?

Is there a table that has everything with all the stats for the perks?

That site by @SkooLBoY_SkePtiK should answer all your questions.

It depends on what you want to do and with what class. Impenetrable, fearless, down range, large pouch, medic, dithered lense, adrenal boost and the leap perk are all good. I also like modified reserve on some of my builds and it’s only 2 points.

About to learn a thing or two :P

oh, rage quit after 1 minute

I am learning quite a bit from this thread, so its very helpful. It doesn’t really help against the really sweaty FT players who chase down the predator from the first encounter and basically can see it when its perfectly stealthed. I dont know if its hackers or graphic glitches, but im sitting still completely after a few seconds and they somehow still see me.

But I just leave as soon as I know its a sweaty team. I have so much snarky comments for the sweat… but its just not worth it so I just leave and queue again.

Its just quite easy to see, spot and track the predator, too much noise, blood trail.

recon+sniper+tracker perk

It can be rather easy for good FT players to guess your location even if you’ve stopped moving.

I could have sworn the tutorial/tips say that after a few seconds of bein still in cloak, you are supposed to be invisible…

Whelp thats lame. I can understand now why this game didn’t really get my attention until it was on sale… Its evolve 2 all over again. The monster/predator rolls over the team when they are noobs but they roll over the monster once they get any kind of skill/perk. RIP.

It’s hard. That curve is ugly but you can get there. Never back down and learn from each encounter. I recorded matches forever to see where I fucked up.

Eventually you learn how to get out and create space enough to heal and get back in the fight. It takes time and practice though and you get a sense for chasers and how to avoid

stealth in this game doesnt work. I know its stupid but it is how it is

When you were crouched and cloaked there was a pool of blood under you since you were injured.
