Ask @FromTheHood I had to cap my frames at 90 because I was getting around 180 in some matches and it kept messing the vsync.

90 feels so smooth like your first time 😌

When I hit a fat rail of coke I can perceive infinite fps.

Few things here

First, what’s your monitor resolution?
at 1080P this game is playable on most modern GPU’s, though with occasional dips in framerate
at 1440P you will need something powerful, like a 1080 or better
at 4K, bro… you will suffer unless you have a 3080

Though Scarface’s suggestion of a PS5 was a joke, sad reality is that this game indeed runs better on PS5 than it does on PC or PS4.

This game is also very CPU heavy. Upgrading my CPU gave me like a 30-40 framerate boost on the same GPU I had before (1070 Ti)

My specs shouldent be the issue though, since i run it totally fine at around 70-80 fps at the beginning of the match until around half, then my fps drops like a brick down to a stable 25-30 with dips to 10-18. My pc can handle it, the issue is the sudden fps drop for no discernible reason

Either way, could be your processor. This game is cpu heavy, and it’s poorly optimized. Once I upgraded to the i7 8700k the difference was night and day.

You have good ram, but tour GPU performs less than a PS5 which is somewhere between a 1070 and a 1080

That’s because it has received little to no optimization since its release.

This shit doesn’t even properly utilize my GPU or CPU all this time later. It’s just a shitty PC port and one of the worst Unreal Engine games i have played in terms of performance. My performance degrades during almost every match especially on that awful Backwater map where my FPS always tanks during an extraction.

This game, in general, continues to be neglected in so many ways.

But, hey! Fret not! More DLC is about to be excreted! Wooo! Rejoice!

I never had a performance drop in the middle of a match tbh… I usually get good 50-60 fps all the time or shitty 20 - than I just quit quz its unplayable.
I think some one had a similar issue in the past, not sure what the solution to that is. This game is optimized like a cat in a dog house - issues are guaranteed.
