That argument still works with or without perks.
Samurai isn’t bad because of other rclasses with perks he’s bad because his base stats are bad
Not to mention you applied this logic to every class.
Viking with impen adrenal is going to be just as different to impen adrenal hunter as base Viking is too base Hunter.
Hunter is definitely better than samurai there’s no two ways about it. Apply the perks. See the the difference in stamina, stamina recovery, speed, and only slightly less TTK on your hunter. Hunter makes samurai a second rate class. Now yea, you can give Viking impen and he’ll be much tankier. But… Viking might be worse than samurai lol. He’s wayyyy too slow. Again, keep in mind I’m talking about playing a team. You can kill a squad of randoms with full melee scout lol

You don’t need to apply the perks to prove samurai is worse. He’s just worse by default.
My point wasn’t that he was good, the point was that the perks don’t change anything.
Because it’s Vikings poor base stats.

Your point is right but your argument of “with perks hunter outclasses samurai” is flawed.
In particular your argument that it applies to every class is also wrong.
No it’s not. My argument about hunter and samurai is entirely correct haha. With perks, without perks, hunter is a better samurai. Due to his armor. He’s just worse than hunter period. And my point is you can use long jump and adrenaline boost and now you’re a better alpha and scout. The only thing you can’t match is zerk health.

I didint say not viable. I said hunter is just way better than the rest. There “strengths” he does better. Wanna tell me zerk is better at melee? Nope. You will swing a few times and have no stamina to get out. Is scout supposed to be “better” at range? Cause he’s not. You literally just have less health

What if I ran long jump and adrenal on scout and Alpha?
Then you leap very very far and have less health than hunter lol. There’s Diminishing returns on these things. Hunter has plenty of stamina and speed with these perks. And more health. He’s just better
I get your point, trust me. I’m just saying with those perks on hunter you match the mobility needed for that play style, AND have noticeably more HP
Not being good with the samurai playstyle does not make samurai bad. Hunter is an all rounder class. It excels in nothing, but is fine at everything, so you can spend perks to enhance it to the heights that other classes don’t need to spend perks on to achieve. If you want to use other perks than those 2, your hunter will suffer. No energy perks, no healing perks, no dithered lens, no trapper, no large pouch.
This is just wrong. Samurai has no play style. Melee? Hunter is better. Hit and run? Hunter is better. Range? Hunter is better. Hunter is better everywhere. Samurai is bad
