well your wrong with both of that playing Predator isnt fun unless you run berserker/ccombistick and fearless other wise the game is annoying in its best and borring in its worse, they made the game around the fire team and im just sick of it too, not too mention that i preordered to get the 48 hour boost and the 87 skin and i didnt get my 87 skin, tryed reaching out for help and no one at illfonic seems to give a shit. no joke not one word saying anything along the lines of " we hear you, were working on trying to fix this issue we’ll keep you updated to have this fix as soon as we can" nope instead nothing just blow me off " please contact Epic games to slove your issue"

but even when i try that they tell me the same thing " please contact illfonic "

all n all if this is how they plan to be at LAUNCH then i dont even wanna see what the game will be like 3 years down the rode im with this guy man fuck this game

I hear you. Playing as the pred is a huge uphill battle the whole match,
Fireteam gets so many extra health items all over the map, better gear/weapons, total control over the pace of the game, all they have to do is stick together, spot-spam, and push objectives hard, and some matches you cant even get near the fuckers… its total bullshit …

Then you come to the forums and See Fireteam players crying about how OP the Pred is… it makes you want to throat punch every damn one of them… the deck is stacked entirely in their favor and if you dare say otherwise you get some shrill voiced punk whos balls haven’t even dropped yet squeaking “Git Gud” at you… 😂🤣😂

Nah its fine man i got nothing againts you… its just that im kinda a bit mad that MOST playstation players want predator to be nerfed cause they get in games with PC players that just either play breserk and rush with combistick or they get beamed to death… Again im not blaming consoles XD…

Yeah, i turned off Crossplay because i play on Console and know PC controls are way better…

Crossplay between consoles is cool, because a controller is a controller is a controller and they’re all pretty much the same, but playing on console vs PC, you’re setting yourself up for a spanking… lol

U can finish with a ranged attack you don’t always have to claim. You can use a net gun to disable melee. If you pause randomly during melee and space attacks you get parried less. if you try and outsmart the parry spammer who is just trying to stave off melee spam with something like a combi stick throw you’ll see improvement If you don’t try and melee your way to victory your more unpredictable.

Ive played solely predator and all these comments just tell me no one actually took the time to think about their full kit, theres other tactics and gear that help with each scenario.

Yeah, fireteam knifes and parry need tweaking. To many tactical dead ends. Give it some time, see what the next patch does.

I mean yeah you are right thats the only way to play lol and thats how i play i just try to spam my plasma blaster and then when i down them i just finish them off without going down, but its still impossible to win :P

Face it no matter what ballance changes are implemented if the game isnt expanded on and given some kind of life blood to build a solid player base for both sides this wont be a hit and will be forgotten faster then i think most want to admit.

I’m with it, I understand you can work around these things, but spacing out melee, just stopping your attack then attacking again; you are slowing your DPS down while the fire teams DPS is high. Which I’m fine with btw I like how much damage the fireteam does. You just need to be able to match that. Your claim that this will solve the problem of parry is just incorrect unfortunately. If you stop swinging you are literally doing what they were trying to make you do anyways, just stand there not swinging.

They need to balance weapons more than anything predator only has two viable options and maybe the bow while fireteam has several very good weapons knife damage obviously needs nerfed because it should not do more damage than any gun less health and ammo across the map for FT and I think if they made FT weapons class specific it would change a lot of how it’s played also and AI still needs buffed because they still don’t pose much threat to either FT or pred and remove the glow from second wind and give pred a stamina and speed buff while in second wind would help a lot

Yeah so have we. I play ONLY predator. Ok i absolutley destroy some fireteams it feels so bad i even say sorry at the end.

I have some great matches that are back and forth. they are the most fun have great matches, the greatest, you wouldnt believe how great, great guys.

THEN, Then there are the abusers of broken mechanics. They spam spotting, because why wouldnt you once you know you can, they all run recon with fast perk and knife damage and sniper and the magnum thing, all the highest damage weapons, they keep you permenantly spotted, they down all your health as SOON as you make a single footstep make any involontary click sound, try to change weapon, use any vision mode they know where u are and spam. then they chase you faster than the pred can escape so you cant run away to heal, they have unlimited stamina and you cant get away, they have unlimited heals between them and the map heals.

Unless you have played against it, and i susepect some may not have because i get really good games at some times in the middle of the early morning, and evening time its all shit like above. so unless you have actually experienced it then you dont even know what we are talking about…

I wish so much i could have the good games that you lot who dont understand are having, u have some real fun in those!

I dont mind people being good at shooting games im all for that. i dont mind guns being really powerful. fine, the plasma caster is fucking pwerfull! got NO issues with parry, it needs to be there.

Why do the fire team have so much more stamina than the pred, and the pred has a stamin abug that doesnt help, meaning it doesnt recharge properly and you cant leap properly or run properly…

Why do the fireteam not use any stamina for anything they do except sprint?

If you are going to give 4 team members such powerful weapons why dont they require any “skill” to use? i have to aim my shots, aiming above the target at distance cuz the projectile drops, accounting for lead if the target is moving, and accounting for the charge of the projectile… they can infinite bunny hop! 360 no scope Hit-scan sniper you, with none of that skill required.

God forbid you line up a good shot and get hit yourself that will put you aim out of whack right away.

Why do the fire team not need to account for target lead and bullet drop on the sniper when there are 4 of them on team, but the pred every single ranged weapon needs to have such high skill, and thats even if your shots dont hit a leaf/tree/doorframe/ bluebottle fly mid air… or even if the shot actually goes where the crosshair is pointing… the crosshair is just a bloody suggestion right now - yeah, your shot may go somewhere around here or maybe it will just fuck off over to the right over there… who knows?!..

second wind is bullshit it may as well not even exist… i dont even bother to use it any more or the detonate because its so easy to catch the pred, kill it, and defuse it.

Tonight iv had 3 games in a row now where im dead with 11mins still left on the clock… and the only “what you did wrong there sport…” that i did was locate and go towards the fire team?!

Again, i FUCKING love this game so much i keep playing it despite all this…and i know even the fireteam that do this to you as pred are on here saying “its too easy as fireteam to kill the pred… its a joke… we hunt him…” they have told us how they see/hear us so easily and directionally. they told us what weapons n builds they use to dominate and how easy it is.

Again , when you get a good one, and i do play many good ones, its amazin, you are a real predator, stalking in the trees and “clicking n hootin n shit” all day long, plasma blastin fools that stand too close and bowing the ones that are mudding up or interacting and stood still… netting and meleeing those that want to “1v1 knife me bro” … its SUPERB. I dont even use the combistick or zerker cuz im nice like that!

But untill you have been up against what we are taking about (and you probably wont ever with crossplay off on PS4) then please dont insult our ability to play the game and just say “oh ur doing it wrong” and all that slack-jawed faggot stuff.
