Idk, but him and his little squad camped at that building, mainly cause of mission but my god, I was running scout analytic with katana and he would not drop

I never think it’s a good idea to go inside building a even if the mission is there because it gives the Predator a better opportunity to dig in

Meh, Toomad is alright. I’ve faced him before a bunch of times.

I dunno if they were camping, it looked like they were just trying to finish their mission. You shouldn’t have went after that guy in the building at the end.

You can use the combistick as a flash grenade for when they’re in buildings too

That’s not camping bro, they pushed the mission and kept the pressure on you after you got 2nd winded.

Camping is when they stay in the same building for literally 10 minutes, waiting for you to come in.

Happened to me once, even the radio popped for them in the same camping building.

Use your caster more and ranged playstyle, forget about rushing with melee, it’s not gonna get you anywhere against decent players.

Toomad is only good if he’s with his recon Spotter build, every other time it’s been an easy wash for me.

Because camping is for children. Hence, why most of them do it. Any Pred with a decent train of thought would never charge in there, but spam ranged weapons and give them the pain.

(I have actually charged in as Viking a few times, and downed them all)

Camping as a concept is very smart (all games included)

It provides a firefight advantage, grants good cover, and denies enemies of a pathway

And like you said, in PHG it straight up sucks

If you lost to camping that’s you sucking so don’t complain about it

In pure shooter-based games, yes, camping has its advantages. But as you said, in this game, its a death trap for a Pred who knows his limits and what to do. Plasma and slams for splash damage, bow shots and more plasma from the outside, throwing in traps, or just straight up rushing in if you have the proper HP and damage output (and balls).
