Bro I’ve seen players taking 3 ammo charges from the ammo crate at the start of the match, get killed 30 sec after and do a rage quit, and I’m like, dude, what the hell?! xD
They can do whatever they want, I won’t complain, as long as they don’t hinder my performance in the game. Don’t blow the barrels next to me, don’t take the ammo charge when you don’t even need it and don’t stick to me when you never even muddied up for the whole match, you’re just gonna get me killed and then it’s game over.
I do try to help the team, I even pop my mic and say, hey dude, mud up, just look at the ground and press whatever pops on your screen, but majority don’t even listen, they just go on and do whatever.
It is satisfying to kill a good Pred player by yourself, but it’s not an easy task tbh, especially if your teammates are brain dead. When I group up with my friends, we rarely lose matches, because we know what to do and how to play. You don’t need to be a God with your aim and accuracy, just knowing the basics and sticking together will grant you a win in most matches.
I have the same experience, if I die 1st, it’s usually a game over for the whole team, in pubs alone.
With friends I’m not worried much, even if Pred kills 2-3 of us, 4th one is gonna bring us back 99%.
If Pred kills 2 ppl, I usually say to the 4th guy, go for the radio, I’ll bait the Pred and buy you time, if I get killed, pop the radio, if I fight off the Pred 1v1, I’ll let you know when he’s 2nd winded and you can pop the radio.
In my opinion, being a good player isn’t about having a good aim, it is a big part of it, but it’s also about awareness of your surroundings and the tactics you come up with on the go.
