Knife is still doing ridiculous damage

Knives are awesome against AI Grunts: they’re essentially a One Hit Kill that keeps you silent when taking out Squads and help with efficient traversal when running from one Point to another.

While I can praise the Knife for AI Engagements, I don’t bother using it against the Predator. I’d rather keep a safe distance and kite that Player around.

In the reverse, when I’m playing as the Predator, I always Net my Targets up and immediately disengage when I see them Slashing about wildly. It’s not worth the Stun hassle.

down range and dithered lens are good perks.
the 3rd perk i usually decide between impenetrable or light bender.
When I got courage enough I pick the second one, that way we can be almost permanently cloaked.
While they dont remove the parry (maybe they wont at all) I wont be spendong to mutch time next to ft. Their knives are deadly!

Light bender is useless against low graphics users. It’s good if you play on console but on PC there’s no 100% chance they won’t see you.

That’s very good and understandable decision mate. Now the light bender perk is going to be your best friend for a while before you want to use other tricks.

There are so many ways to play with the predator, one for every ft squad you encounter.
So many perks. The problem is when you choose one based on some kind of FT players you expect to encounter and them you get other kinds.

Simple test to do in game for anyone who is still not sure whether knife is ridiculously OP - find a pig as FT and kill it with your knife. Now do the same as predator but use combistick.

Probably should be. All the comments and opinions of others are already logged, interesting answers might already be written which people are less inclined to write again and again. Probably easier for devs to sift through. I think there is a part in the faq about keeping things tidy. Also this isnt a bug. No shade, Just a tip for people who have never used a forum before.
