I literally just had this issue and was getting spotted instantly. Checked and guess what… PC player. I started giving him abuse and he said he wasn’t bothered and it was going on YouTube. Also couldn’t report him because you can’t see previous players. They should stop cross play with PC all together, they ruin every game going.

Well, I agree with you some of the way…
Turning off cross play should not be the way to go, BUT after running into players using a hack some times you get frustrated - you’ve just waited a lot for getting a match and now you have to deal with this as well.
I’ve run into they same issue. If it’s luck there sure is a portion of it going around.
I will not be forced into having to play the Beserker class.
What you’re saying doesn’t at all mean someone is hacking or cheating.
If you watch the streams, it’s nearly the only viable predator class. You will not win much without it, there’s massive balance issues. Believe me this game was shipped so far from ready it’s ridiculous.
easy anti cheat might get on it. we will have to get more than 3 days though…
its only a tiny amount of people that do it, its not as easy as type in a cheat code you have to know how to use it. but its not impossible.
I think iv only seen it once or twice. no matter where u go, how still you stand, even inside a building cloaked, the other side of the map, they immediatley come to your location and are shooting at you before they even enter the building.
If you suspect cheater then stand still, cloaked inside a building that is at the edge of the map. if they come to you then yeah they knew wherer you were all along.
However not everyone that spots you easy is cheating, it is a bit broken and so easy to spot the pred anyway. in fact he is more invisible without cloaking in some situations… the cloak effect actually gives you away.
I don’t assume all pc players cheat, but yes I’m very frustrated bc it’s happened once every 3 matches. I haven’t run into anymore of those people and have been having a great time on the game. That’s how rules and laws are made, someone abuses it, and ruins that image we have for all of you. Don’t take it personally, can’t stand cheaters.
It’s a shame you can’t look for previous players you suspect cheating to report them

go to that website and report the CHEAT not the players. just put what u saw and the game in the list. thats all
this specific cheat can be googled and there is a description even of how it works on a thread somewhere so they can look into that as well. this red char wallhack was out the day the trial started. Of all games to wait for match making then hack to kill the predator in 2 minutes and repeat seems like a serious waste of one’s time but its the type of thing hackers enjoy i suppose. at least hack in a game like battlefield or cod if you’re going to do it so you can rack up the kills. wtf is the point in hunting grounds.
Yes i know, im one of the people that has been sharing that link to the devs and reporting the cheat to Easy anti cheat.
If more people report it then its more likely to be sorted. i sent them a link to the website.
More people should do the same.

I ran into this issue where I was switching weapons behind a wall at one of the compounds and a Support-class player (the most OP class there is and should be reduced, imo, like the Beserker) was shooting me through the wall.
through a WALL? or a fence? if its thin wood, or that material that covers some surfaces that can be shot throug. and they can HEAR your weapon switching so they were probably just spamming the area for lucky shots. you cant assume everyone is cheating.
If you suspect cheating then use an audio decoy or 2 and then stand perfectly still behind a tree while cloaked. if they come to you behind the tree then you know they can see you through the tree not just hear where you are from sounds. if they go and search the other areas where you threw the decoy first then they are just using the sound.
I stopped playing today because I noticed my team was getting taken down by predator asap. Suspiciously so. I feared there was a PC hack. When I play later, in going to turn off crossplay. Hate to do it but until it’s fixed, that’s how I’m playing… If I play at all
