It’s a much bigger disadvantage to play as the Predator on night mode than it is playing as Fireteam.

If you so much as take a few hits as pred you become a glow stick that anyone can see from a mile away.

Pretty much every night map I’ve played so far, I’ve had to resort to plasma spamming to win. Your cloak is far too visible in the moonlight (when it works), and like others have been said you become a giant glowstick with any damage.
It is fun to hop around in the dark and pop off shots, watching them freak out and shoot in random directions.

As someone who does not like using thermal vision, I have to agree with this.
On the plus side, you can just adjust the gamma setting and lower your graphics, and dark areas will be more bright so you don’t have to use thermal vision as much.
Thermal vision in night maps is also shit ATM. Way too bright.
On the bright glow stick comment… well… it ain’t our problem. That’s the Yautja blood’s color. It’s canon, so suck it up pal. LOL

This is a game, not reality or pseudo fantasy reality in your head. Balancing needs to be done about the blood colour during night or less bleeding canon or not.
The biggest disadvantage is the horrible framerate. Still hoping for optimization.

This is definitely the dilemma here… either your turning the gamma up to see in the dark without the thermal on or your turning it down so thermals aren’t so bright. I personally prefer the thermal as it makes hunting so much more effective, until the mask pops off of course…
I find Night to be more challenging for the pred. But then again you need to use your brain before engaging. But you also need to know that the dark will work with u

I think that’ll help but it’s not going to resolve the overall issue.
Biggest issue is the glow blood.
Ok, so you think running around the map ‘blind’ while NOT glowing is the solution? That’s just a bandaid…
Predator should have its natural red vision without the mask. Not hard to do. Just make it clearer than the movies…

I must say, now that they fixed the thermal vision in the night maps, it’s much easier to see the Fireteam with Thermal even when they are fully mudded up.

throwing smart disks in the dark jungle is a lot tougher because you cant see the Ft at all, night vision disappears soon as you throw it. i personally hate night maps and the only reason we got them and people requested them was because it would be easier than creating whole new maps and a quick solution for only having a few original maps. wish they would make the predators game preserve map on alien planet.

Can’t say if looking at everything in blue light is going to make controlling the thing easier.
