Well now… lets start from the beginning, shall we?

  • Hawkins dies in a split second without even knowing what hit him.(not very fair tbh)

  • Blain dies from plasma bolt - shot in his back, while the hunter is cloaked (for fuck sakes man, overkill or what?!)

  • Mack and Dillon die in same fashion as Blain – cloaked, ranged attacks and finishing move out of nowhere, with no possible defence

  • Billy dies of camera - but the “fight” takes less than a second (judging by how fast hunter caught up with remaining prey) so he although was plasma spammed in the face or simply run over.

  • Poncho - plasma bolt to the head, from tree while cloaked

  • Dutch… chased down a cliff, when hunter walks out of the lake he PLASMA SPAMS the first heat source he notecases

Second time, after literally HEAVY PLASMA SPAMMING THE AREA, we have a duel – mighty strong, 2.5m tall reptilian alien armed with super sharp wrist blades going up against 1.8 tall half naked, exhausted and wounded human - this is not honourable in any way, shape or form, its sadistic.

My point is - by design (first two movies only, from original screen writers) Yautja are sadistic interplanetary serial killers – not honourable warriors, as DC comic books tried to portrait them. This wrong narrative led to awful AVP movies and Predator sequels.

Why are you arguing? I just said he didn’t have to give Dutch a chance and because of THAT good sportsmanship he died, now in the novels especially the hunting grounds novel one was so sadistic that he used a soldier as a body shield laughing knowing they wouldn’t shoot him…WHICH REMINDS ME THEY STILL DIDNT GIVE US THE GRABBING MECHANIC TO USE A.I OR F.T AS MEAT SHIELDS! Also ledge grabbing, so many times as both teams I keep falling off the helicopter pad lol

Hawkins was for the damage he would go on to do to the franchise.

Blain , did you see the size of him and the gun? He took out literally the biggest threat.

Mac and dillon , I assumed he was toying with them and getting confidence with their numbers dwindling, and it was probably chuckling at the fact they followed him and split up.

Billy , was taken out with a slash down his throat and abdomen, more than likely uncloaked .

Poncho , was wounded and probably frowned upon as a tainted trophy?

Do you see hunters jump out on deer or elk and announce they are there? 😁 the cloak is to not alert any other prey in the surrounding area . I’ve never been hunting but even I know that , more commotion? Less element of surprise.

We would if we were genetically modified murderhobos and it took basically no effort to catch and kill a deer with your bare hands. We use guns because we can’t compete with the deer physically or run it down. People compare preds to human hunters when they’re closer to some overlevelled rogue trolling people in a pvp zone complete with the taunting and being sore losers about their gear being stolen.
And the rogues have guilds with slightly more principles than others.

If I can be honest , I would probably be an asshole aswell . Comparing a fictional character to real life , makes little sense I know .

I just always assumed with the yautja having a combat fetish ? He probably took it personally that they made him look like an asshole and squeel like a pussy in that net? He was probably embarrassed and possibly shit himself.

So he toyed with them as a sort of " so you guys think you are hot shit huh ?" Moment? He probably enjoyed it too much , like a cat with a mouse? 🧐🤔 it was their nature coming out . Its maybe a hint at their animal instinct

The extreme AvP space samurai EU stuff contrasts with the entire character concept of killing for fun.
