Hawkins was for the damage he would go on to do to the franchise.
Blain , did you see the size of him and the gun? He took out literally the biggest threat.
Mac and dillon , I assumed he was toying with them and getting confidence with their numbers dwindling, and it was probably chuckling at the fact they followed him and split up.
Billy , was taken out with a slash down his throat and abdomen, more than likely uncloaked .
Poncho , was wounded and probably frowned upon as a tainted trophy?
Do you see hunters jump out on deer or elk and announce they are there? 😁 the cloak is to not alert any other prey in the surrounding area . I’ve never been hunting but even I know that , more commotion? Less element of surprise.

We would if we were genetically modified murderhobos and it took basically no effort to catch and kill a deer with your bare hands. We use guns because we can’t compete with the deer physically or run it down. People compare preds to human hunters when they’re closer to some overlevelled rogue trolling people in a pvp zone complete with the taunting and being sore losers about their gear being stolen.
And the rogues have guilds with slightly more principles than others.

I just always assumed with the yautja having a combat fetish ? He probably took it personally that they made him look like an asshole and squeel like a pussy in that net? He was probably embarrassed and possibly shit himself.

I think the honour based shit comes down to , if they find a worthy opponent ? So they probably looked down on humans until dutch put up a fight? So it was a surprise and he challenged him in hand to hand .
I dont think they really thought it that far through and it sort of shaped itself in the second movie? No killing kids or pregnant women? I think that’s as far as their code goes 😁.
The whole gauntlet detonation? They probably thought it would be cool and look like the samurai throwing himself onto his own katana?
