It ties into the movies lore yes but it is unclear whether or not this game takes place after or before the events in the movie. Stargazer (company in the movie) is in this but OWLF is still in operation in the game so that would suggest this takes place before the movie does perhaps as OWLF does eventually get disbanded and Stargazer takes over OWLF operations and Keyes joins them.
Hopefully the developer will ignore the 2018 movie completely and utterly. We can only hope. And scream on the forums.

As for the movie, fine its cannon, just stop with the Apex/Super “bigger/badder” Predators 😒
They can do the gene splicing but the super/big/bad shit needs to stop.

I think all four Predator movies are canon here. I’m hoping we get the Fugitive and Upgrade Predators in the game (they were pretty cool, although the Upgrade’s reason for taking the kid isn’t that good).
As long as upgrade stays relative size to normal, it could be fine.
If he has to be 15 feet tall, throw the whole design away.
Make them different clans/types but not a whols type of race

Yeah a bit taller than Berserker would work. How would a 15 foot fall Predator even work in this game? It’d be unable to go in pretty much every doorway without crouching.
Also, I thought the Upgrade Predator was a different type of Predator, not a whole other race. The Super Predators from Predators, those were just Bad Blood (dishonorable/exiled) Predators with no augments.
The upgrade pred, the DNA splicing with humans… the “take the autistic kid because gooder hunter”, and last but not least, they “predator killer” iron-predator suit… delete all of that garbage. RUINED THE FRANCHISE!! PERIOD!

Basically Im saying keep the stupidity of this stuff out of it.
Its dumb bigger=cooler/better thought processing with that kind of stuff.
There’s plenty of different castes and skills/specialty Predators and hunters that dont need be bigger or taller to be stronger or better or tougher.
Even then, with the issues going all this should just be skins

I’m rewatching as I type this. Already I found something I want in the game.
The mini smart discs that shoot out of the gauntlet that cut that guy in half who bled all over the predator.
And the launchable wrist blades
And the Shuriken
Makena didn’t seem to have much trouble fighting ol preddy in the dark. Just sayin.
I did genuinely LOL when makena shot the pred dog (is that a hish qu tan?!) With the GL and it farted while it was blowing up.
I don’t care. I like this movie. The action was great and It made me laugh for good and not so good reasons.
This game takes place 7 years after The predator in 2025. Stargazer leaves the goverment and becomes privatized and OWLF is reinstated.
