Traps are bugged. If you shoot them in mid air they will still trap you. Some still sound active after you shoot them making you think the are still active, so you waste bullets trying to shoot an inactive trap. After you free yourself sometimes you still get that gigantic message on your screen ‘TRAPPED’

TRAPS ARE THE MOST BROKEN AND ABUSED GEAR FOR PRED.

Ps, not to mention, even if you run the 6th sense perk, sometimes it won’t detect all traps so wtf. Traps are so broken. No pred player should feel proud of abusing such horseshit.

I’m curious as too what qualities make it hard to use, because fight time is much longer, it travels slower for more control, and it travels faster when you need it to?

Smart disc is probably the most bugged weapon in the game.
Invisible textures are also an issue.

I would say in comparison to other weapons in the game. The disc requires more prep time and consideration to use for example, you have to find cover that’s relatively close to your target to make the most use out of it. You’re a sitting duck when using it and even if you’re cloaked you’re still pretty visible hence the need for cover in the first place. Should you get shot out of it there’s a small sense of shock as you don’t know what knocked you out of it whether it be a flash bang or frag, a FT member snuck around you and found you (lord help ya if it’s a Duelist or Deadly), or an AI spawned on you and started unloading.

There’s also the fact that if your ping is 40+ it becomes incredibly choppy to use. Most other weapons don’t suffer from these problems at all. It’s also noisy and if you know what you’re doing as a FT you can dodge it pretty easily as the pred still has to manually glide it with a timer and be aware of its return path so it’s not left in area where it’s a hazard to try and retrieve it, granted this problem is alleviated with having 3 of them but a well coordinated team can capitalize on that.

Actually, I do have to concede this point, but as far as bugged, I haven’t seen them yet.

ok here come the three point that make the disc a bitch to use.

  1. Lower frames when using the disc.

  2. The mousse control are inversed (up is down and down is up) and we can’t modify the disc control to our own convinience.

  3. the damn Hitboxs of that game sometimes i found my smart disc stuck at 0.5 feet of the tree that i was trying to avoid for no reason, making the disc stuck mid fucking air.

Some of them are critical. For example: After loosing one of your smart discs, you can’t use the rest 2;

You get stuck in an animation and are not able to move;

Disc accelerates on itself without you being able to control it and etc.
