Friendly Melee knife strikes do damage, but I don’t think you can parry.lol
I just tried it in a private match and well maybe it did too much damage to even get parry. I dont think there was a parry indicator either.

I’m setting the FT starting health to like 8,000 percent.
So judging by the amount of views vs response, nobody really has ventured into this idea.
Its just myself thats ventured as far to respond homeboy , it can’t be hard to find the answer
well the only reason why im pursuing this is if someone just so happens to have friendly fire on and wacks the guy next to him with the knife. If he has the right reflexes, and that there is a parry option, he would be able to do it to save himself the damage.
That said, you might find yourself head to head with someone who just wants to knife fight your ass to the death, and if you can parry then it makes it all the more interesting to fend for yourself.
What that means is that there is more at stake than just a fight with the predator. There is friendly gun fire, or a mild knife fight in which if you’re good enough, you might be able to win or get gud for the next knife fight. Some people have been struggling with parrying the predator so this only makes it a cool way to practice!
And if Parrying doesn’t existing between FT members, then we should request that it does!

I’m not sure what friendly fire has to do with anything.
All you had to do was join a Clash match and run up and knife someone or see if they knife you. There is no FT vs FT parry whoever stabs who first wins.
Clash allows you to kill your own team? i dont think so. Private or public? Public most certainly doesn’t.

Well there is no hit damage with melee against your own FT in public matches. So this kind of precludes the investment in that system. But when you open up Friendfire private matches, you open up Melee damage. Like i’m not sure why u don’t understand what i’m talking about.

Dude, You can’t get knife damage on public matches. Sure you can knife someone (this mechanic exists), but they DO NOT get damage nor can you parry.
But the question is when you unlock the Friendly Fire IN A PRIVATE MATCCH IN WHICH YOU CAN GET DAMAGE with melee does that unlock a Parry option?

People generally know what is available in Public, and in PArty matches, what we need to confirm is the PRIVATE CATAGORY!

You can knife FT in Clash. You can’t parry players in Clash because there is no FT v FT parry.
Why would you think that would change in a private match if the mechanic doesn’t exist?
in clash Knife works against the opposing team. Thats not my point. We are talking about HUNT!
How could you confuse my statement? Clash is all about fT against FT. My shit is about the PARRY in prodominantly inclusive team!

Asking for FT parry in hunt makes even less sense than asking for parry in Clash

How do you make a match modification out of something that isn’t a mechanic in the game?
There is no FT vs FT parry in Clash so there wouldn’t be a friendly fire parry in Hunt

Its one of those mechanics that aren’t customizable much like reloading a weapon!
Alright, so @ADIsnap and I confirmed it, even with 8000% health we were unable to pop the Parry ability no matter how much we slammed the knife against each other’s faces.
Oh well!
This mechanic, no matter how cool it wouuld have been to be able to 1v1 each other under normal conditions, is not available between FT members of the same team.
Usecase: I want to be able to slice another forum member’s face because he pissed me off much like Fire and Finessology does on many occasions.
My Sunday venture into misadventure has ended.

you can’t parry AI so I would assume you can’t parry friendly fire from FT to FT. You can, however, parry friendly pred on clash, friendly fire or not. So I guess is a game mechanic limited to FT to Pred only
