Kinda same thing is happening here. Because whether you wanna admit it to yourself or not AVP is not canon, as stated by the people who run fox. And it’s not canon by any logically account either as this film literally cannot exist within the Alien universe and make any sense. Wanting something to be good, or true, because you’re a massive fan. Doesn’t then make it any more true

Just in the newest Expansion, they brought back Destorying Angels and Berserker story stuffs. Also literally Fake Hicks “Wilks” makes an appearance.

Plus the Power Grid was Plasma’d up by everyone’s favorite incompetent, Wolf, so while the public started to wise up about Xenos in the streets, no electricity to make a FB Post.

Thematically? Absolutely. Storytelling? Eh. I agree with you on this though.

The Predator is still Canon? Stated as such? Do not mistake that for me for liking the film. It is very clear that Predator = AvP.

Okay, let’s imply a Neckbeard stayed at home all day during Requiem and on their 2004 computer. they wouldn’t know what the hell was going on outside. Plus Wolf knocked out the power grid just as everything was ramping up, so how the hell could Neckbeard have made a post if their computer was nicked from no electricity?

Bro Covenant sucked on so many levels, it was unreal. I really wanted to like that movie, but my brain and logical thinking were just saying “NO”.

I was laughing when Ridley said that he’s convinced that Fox will give him a green light for another Alien movie, I literally said, “this guy lost it”.

Yeah, Alien 3 was something different, but not bad, I liked 1st and 2nd more than 3rd but it is what it is.
It’s a shame that franchise like that is just on the table, with no plans or whatever to move forward.

True. Alien 4 was kinda, let’s milk some more money and throw in the main actress again, 'cause she was the main poster girl anyway.

The only Terminator movie after T3 that I’ve watched was Dark Fate I think, with Bale as the main actor. All the others, I didn’t even bother watching tbh.

But it’s just not. It’s unfortunate they didint really take there time, write an awesome story, and give us the connected universe all us fans deserve. Instead we got rushed out incoherent stuff.

Like dude I WISH it all made sense these are my two favorite franchises. But it just doesn’t. None of it makes remote sense

When I watched Prometheus and finished watching it, it really felt unfinished, like when you take a solid video/movie and just cut it to pieces on random, glue it together and there it is, it just felt badly edited and unfinished.

It did pose some good questions, like why would they create us and then try to destroy us etc.
Also Alien Queen Mural in the ship etc, it had some nice things going on.

Then after watching it, I downloaded the parts of the movie that were cut off and I was in enigma, why some of the essential parts were cut off, that would actually explain some stuff, just connect the dots.

And then the Covenant dropped after, killed everything off from the previous movie and now an Android has made Alien’s, right.
