If they’ve gone to the trouble of doing all the work for the character likeness that means they likely already have a contract signed with her (and probably the voice work done as well). Most probably just Illfonic shuffling the release schedule for technical reasons or just simply to surprise people (as the silhouette of the character was guessed at almost immediately by fans).

Likely because he has no desire to do the voice work for it.

Would be odd having an elderly cop in the jungle as well.

Someone pointed out a plausible reason , they are trying to keep the nostalgic fans around longer by using alot of filler in between the movie skins . In a year they released two versions of one character , the preorder jungle hunter , elder and city hunter . So thats four skins in a year related to the movies , they surely have a handful more and they probably figure once people get the characters they want? Nobody would be interested in their other ones . So it’s a way to get enough skins sold as filler , its just a way to try keep fans hanging around 🤔

They are trying to extend the games life through cosmetics, rather than anything actually meaningful . So far anyway , could they turn it around? Yeah and I hope they do , its just I dont like the way they are doing it

It could explain alot , its the same with the lootboxes , making their rotation and workings so shit that you would need to play hours upon hours to even have a chance of unlocking a certain cosmetic you might want. They are doing everything they can to keep people hanging around , apart from balancing the game and making it more fun

At this point I wouldn’t grumble with having Royce, but before any other fireteam members , harrigan should be in the game . Especially before any nfl players

c’est difficile pour tout le monde, pas seulement illfonic. alors vous blâmez le dlc? ok, ce n’est pas un problème de dlc et l’état du jeu n’est pas un problème illfonic. c’est un problème de gestion et un gros problème à avoir pour un jeu aussi barebones

Ilffoni that’s not EA, Ubisoft, Bandai or Capcom. The management is hard but the difference compared to other developers the community is there to help them.

I didn’t say they were any of those companies? If a company can’t handle a job then why exactly are they doing said job? It almost sounds as if you are saying because they aren’t as established in the gaming industry, that people should expect and accept a lower standard? Nobody is expecting or demanding the greatest and best running game we have ever seen , we just want one that sticks to the relevant source material and as gamers , they give us acceptable quality of life with their product?

In terms of direction, they can’t please everyone. and if they gave us all these terrific models based on movie sources, they would be putting too much invested in models rather than a meaty game.

Their mechanics are pretty standard barebones mechanics and for them to release all your favorite characters within one year is underestimating what the engine is potentially capable of. and I don’t think they are done with the engine either. Mechanics should be on their way.

QofL updates and all, their job is to keep us looking in and playing. Maybe not hopelessly addicted but then I think some of us are. I’m just saying if they are expecting a 2 year life span, then expect more models on the way.

My comment wasn’t to change your mind mate ,I wasn’t saying you are wrong either . I can only speak for myself and thats the view I have on the situation. Sorry if it came across any other way . I have been at this game since the beta and I stayed hopeful for a long time , but its been tough to keep quiet at points with some of the issues there has been . The full release was practically the beta , its a sad state gaming is in when it takes up to years from purchase to get a fleshed out game . This isn’t exclusive to illfonic
