I implore you to not buy this game
For the first couple of months you will feel like it’s the best game ever but after a while of dealing with
1 bugs that never get fixed
2 devs that don’t listen to the forums
3 busted game mechanics
So I’d recommend keeping your money
Also only 800 people play this game
It’s kinda dead
But I can’t tell you what to do with your money. You do you

Still like dbd. Also liked Deathgarden before it got stomped.
Was just reading, that the game has a new ceo and want to fix the bugs now. (What they did before?).
I liked alien vs predator and im still hoping for something liket that in multi or singleplayer.

Some games i really want and know that i’m getting it when i first see it. Here i was still unsure. But I’m watching the preogress and see what happens. Maybe i’m trying it ut when its very cheap.

For fireteam, it’s good. For predator you have to wait more than 7minutes to find matches

If the bugs will be fixed, it will take a long time. So probably not. We had game breaking bugs before, that were just fixed months after it has been reported.

Marine sided. The game is in the best state since beginning in terms of balance , but the balance is still trash.
If you have friends who olay the game,get the game kn sale, otherwise I cant recommend it.

It will sadly feel eons less polished than DBD in every way. DBD has vision and a general design philosophy, this game doesn’t & it’s more like someone’s college project. People only care about the fact it has pred in the title kind of like the only reason a couple hundred people are still playing A:FTE on PC.

There aren’t any real classes, just different stat variations that make a second of a difference in each category. scout can take rocket launcher. The “heavy” predator class can take a bow and arrow.
All predators have the exact same hit and run playstyle with nothing really differentiating them which means every match plays out the same exact way with pred trying to pepper people with plasma fire or arrows from a mile away while a timer counts down but thats pretty much the entire game with no depth to it aside from how accurate you are at peppering people from a mile away.

Think Evolve if the only class was Goliath and how boring that would get with 1 monster with all the same skills and playstyle. That and it’s buggy as hell and the netcodes garbage, you’ll get shot through a wall at some point and die across the map because 1 persons desynced and shooting at your ghost & the game’s hosted on some borderline experimental amazon cloud server as a hitscan FPS.
Desync’s the cause of about 50% of the bugs, the rest is pure incompetence as Illfonic yet again makes it clear why all their work was scrapped when they were working on Star Citizen.

They gave this game for free for the whole month to PS players.
If you’re a PC player and wanna pay the full price for it, I’d say either get the game on some serious discount or buy a better game tbh.

  • I never had problem finding matches, only the waiting for the Predator could be slow, but not as much as i expected.

  • Some bugs (were and) will be fixed, others might stay.

  • As said from the others the Jungle Hunter is the only one you can’t access, but the mask can be found in the lootboxes.

  • You can be OP since the beginning, the rest Is pretty much aestetich.

  • Everyone says that the game is marine(Fireteam) sided, but honestly if you’re good you’ll be unstoppable both sides.

Pretty sure the invisibility one will be fixed, beacuse is too debilitating, but others like the enemy bot AI randomly shutting off will stay.

This might be regional/system dependent. During slow times, Predator queue actually drops to about 3 1/2 minutes, for me. Nights and weekends, I get about 5 minute Predator queues. I play on PS5, crossplay OFF, currently in Texas.

Yeah, the wait times for me only increased a little since the free ps plus month. 3-5 minutes now.
