Tried playing the game myself a few weeks back and had to quit after the first week. Didn’t sub but it was frustrating to see how much was tucked behind that paywall with little to no way to earn without dipping into one’s pocketbook. And the story was boring in my opinion. Maybe it would have gotten better if I kept playing, but the time I did spent felt wasted and I didn’t feel like sticking out cause it might get better.

But agin that’s just my opinion so I don’t blame anyone who did like it. It just wasn’t for me.

I spent like 3 years playing SWTOR, left like 2 years ago. I keep wanting to go back but I’m sticking FTP since the only reason I justified paying before was not having PSN or XBOX live to pay.

Game wasn’t bad for content, I left after the KOTFE storyline ran into the weird alliance thing but the updates were always significant back then

Because too many fucking pieces of shits are obsessed with graphics and not for the game running smooth.

If they didnt care about it running well on console they should have never made a console version.

You literally cant argue that, if they’re not going to put in the effort to make it work on all released platforms, then they should only focus one.

And yeah, this is something that I’m extremely fucking pissed about.
I shouldn’t get fucked over because I prefer consoles, just like a pc player shouldnt get fucked over cause they prefer pc.

Replace PC with PS 4 and PS4 with PS3 in your argument. What? Fuck PS3 players because some asshats had to have a PS4?

Games need up to par graphics to be attractive, of course if you have only that you will fail, like Anthem did, still those are a massive part of a game. The vast majority of PS players drool over games with insane gfx. Like Horizon Zero Dawn 2.

Players are not stupid for demanding what they want, its a service, give me X or me quit and find something I like. PC players won there, PS4 players lost. You can be pissed at the devs but not the PC players who demanded a service for the money they put in. The way PS4 should “argue” with the devs is by not playing it if its having issues but I fail to see how its PC players fault the game had issues for PS4.

Oh and I don’t know what improvements were made to the engine that ended up having issues on consoles. Yes, GOT looks great on PS4, I have a PS4 and I’ve finished the game.

KOTFE/KOTET was the last big expansion and it came out in 2015 if I remember it right.

After that, we got like 30 minutes “expansion” in 2019 and a follow up to that expansion in 2020 which was also 20-30 minutes long. EA even announced last year that they made over 1B from SWTOR.

Whole Anthem shitshow was funded via SWTOR, hell, even that leading game producer that killed half of the SWTOR playerbase with his stupid decisions, made Anthem DOA and got fired shortly after.

Oh come on man, its far more then 30 minutes, FAR more. As I said, I’ve played it a 1-2 months back. The story with you being a loyalist or a saboteur is very long. I’ve also enjoyed it.

And btw buddy, PS5 is PC, it runs on AMD hardware.
There’s no “PC catching up to PS5” in terms of hardware, cause mid range PC from 5 years ago has the exact same performance as PS5. It’s just that some games are better optimized for PS5 and some other games are better optimized for PC (Cyberpunk for example).

No dude, not even close. There are in depth breakdowns and comparisons. It’s somewhere in between the 1070 and 1080

For some games it performs lower than that.
