RIP Loot Boxes there’s NO point in buying them

I don’t understand why they applied this change if NO ONE has requested it, but I would agree if they really did their job well.
I do not want to have thousands and thousands of credits or earn them easily, what I want is to earn credits by playing and when I have a good amount to buy 50 chests and at least get red and yellow objects … I do not want to spend the little credit that I win in opening chests, losing credits in exchange for objects that I will not use because they are replicated.

Please improve the RNG or increase the possibility of obtaining higher quality items Red / yellow.
If they do not do so, return to your starting square and do not shoot yourself.

Probably be ause a lot of the people that are still playing after lvl 100 are just doing it to unlock certain stuff to make their players look cool…

The game doesn’t have much content after you unlock the weapons you want… especially for no frills guys like me. i played Assault Rifle and Shoty the entire time… lol

Everything else was Unnecessary… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Honestly the nerf on dupe earnings bummed me out a bit. But it’s not that big of a deal. However, if the loot box meta was a bit better, I think it’d be less of an issue. The amount of dupes you get is insane, lol.

Yeah in order to make this nerf justified they need to increase rarer drops and how much money you earn after a match is over.

I’m sure they’ll get wind of this thread. It’s already got quite a few responses. Plus, I’m sure they’d be expecting it considering the changes, haha. When you nerf earnings of any form in any game the reaction usually ain’t the best, haha.

My last game, I have killed the fireteam 6 times … I have won the game and I have obtained around 190 credits …

I guess my main issue with the Lockers is the value of buying the item is not in the same value of the rate at which it drops. I.e A Red item is worth 7500, therefore, I would expect opening 7500 worth of lockers I would expect to get one red. The pay off is pay 7500 and get a red you want, or spend 7500 and get a random red plus a bunch of extra common junk, maybe even luck out and get some extra nice loot on top.

Unfortunately, the cost is not equal to the chance and once you cap out on level, the current rate of income of Veritanium is not economical to support either spending outright on cosmetics you want - especially mythic quality. Either the rate of income needs to increase or drop chance should increase.

Blue was dropped 33.3%
Purple was dropped 40%
Rare Purple was dropped 53.33%

Where the hell did @IllFonic get these numbers from, did they use the RNG from the drops in the crates?

I like this change. Honestly.
In my opinion, there is no reason to call a weapons skin something like unique or mythic if you only need to open like 15 boxes to find it, while being able to create new boxes out of nothing.
And you are still able to buy it, so where is the problem? Just save some money if you want that special weapons skin so bad!

You should try out farming items in some older games.
Like Diablo 2 LOD for example.
There you have statistical chances of 1 in several millions to find certain items that you even need for certain character builds.

The lootbox system is now jank af. No point buying them, especially since I know how long it takes to even be lucky at a Mystic (~2,000+)

I’m glad I have enough V saved up for when this is changed bc yeah. Gross.

Agreed they need to lower the amount of duplicates cause its stupid now think I opened like 70 crates with 4 new items…

You can’t buy the hidden items or trophies that’s what I was striving for. And you barely get enough money to buy what you want when you are level 100. So that’s why this is a big problem to most of us here. No one cares about weapon skins those are so easily gotten.

I had everything customisable that I wanted since level 40

Since hitting 100 with the shitty queue times I have in my region - the only thing I felt I could do to get some kind of reward after hitting the level cap was attempt to get those trophies.

But the chance of getting anything of that kind of nature is so bloody low, I’d given up even before the patch. Now I ain’t touching lootboxes period.

Facts. I had everything I wanted before that loot box grind. The only way to fix this at this point is either increase the rate at which exotics and mythics drop tremendously and increase the rate you earn the currency to buy the boxes or you could revert the change back.

So you do not understand gravity, I like that getting these deblocables is a difficult task but when all of us here have opened more than 2,000 boxes and we have not got more than 2 yellow or exotic objects … Don’t you think that something is wrong here?

I understand you, but I still think that it should also involve something like luck.
I mean real luck.
Where is the challenge when everybody will run around with yellow items in a few months?

Real luck, maybe it is so but it is not gratifying to spend all your savings on something and not get any benefit. 2000 boxes are too many boxes to not see a single yellow object.

I prefer to pay 2,500 coins in exchange for an exotic, than to pay all my money to only obtain any type of object, be it blue, purple, red and duplicate.

I agree, I’ve gotten 1 yellow in over 1,000 boxes. A few reds but not enough to have made money back in this current situation. I would have opened like 25 crates and been out of money and hence outta luck. Good points sir.

I still think the “Hidden Trophies” should have been an unlock, ie Human skull at 100 human skulls, or made them as findable objects or even objectives for the Predator to do, so they stop rushing in on the FT.
