No, is not because PC’s are low end. Is because the poor optimization of the game.
When you are used to play AAA games at over 60 FPS and all of a sudden a game that looks like it was made a decade ago performs poorly even on a high end GPU like an RTX 3090, you know there is a problem.
Right now this game will drop frames below 60 on an RTX 3090 at a resolution of 1440P, which is like the standard resolution for gaming ATM. That is simply unacceptable. Smooth gameplay is always preferable above visuals on any first person shooter or fast action game. Is sad that the only way to achieve a smooth gameplay with this game is by lowering shadows to low, which makes the game look like it was made in the early 2000’s. But it is what it is. Maybe in 10 years we will be able to play this game in 1440P @ 144FPS with the top tier GPU that is available at that moment.
