Should the game be fast or slow paced

I guess part of the issue is that any one change would probably be bad, but I have like 50 different changes I would make and all my personal ideas reference those.

I want the game to have more freedom as well, but not from Superman leaps. I would like to see more mobility while shooting ranged weapons. I would like to see dodge rolls for predators and Fireteam. I would like to be able to keep moving while deploying gear. I would like to see more dynamic melee that has heavy attacks for every weapon. That’s just the top of the iceberg.

See all of these you’ve mentioned I’m all for it.
But without look leap as it is, I dont see how they can gave a chance tbh.

Theres not enough mobility otherwise.

As for me I’ve had some ideas but eh.
Illfonic doesnt listen to any of us.

If they did I would still be doing like the early days and discussing ideas on here.

Idk if anyone remembers but I always used to ask ppl why they thought what they did in terms of ideas.

Sadly only a few actually discussed stuff, others just were like fuck you fire, so I stopped.
Also ilfonic not communicating.

Right. This has been the biggest issue they’ve had this first year.

If you hop through the trees, you can be fairly fast.

I’ll do a timed experiment testing how fast a predator can leap across a map, versus how long it takes through the trees. Should be interesting to see the numbers

It must be field medics getting upset by quick claims or people that really dont want to pressure the pred, same with pigs. Some potato goes down like human bait and you get free headshots for the duration they lock themselves in an animation on the ground.

I’d imagine objective speedrunners dont care for it though the same way they hate pigs and are 100% against chasing the pred ever

It’s something I do occasionally.

X jump to branch, then leap.

Oh, I don’t even have trees assigned to anything.

They’re easy to track, obvious spot, out in the open, no reason to have it

I use default settings because I couldn’t come up with a better layout for me.

I make it work tho.

I use circle for thermal, R3 for TI, and the d-pad for weapons

My mapping is default but I switched tree interactions to R3 as that is unassigned with base mapping. Helps now that every time I jump I don’t have to worry about trees.

Maybe, but the question I’m posing is how much of a difference. If they are close(<15%), then it really doesn’t matter.
