Don’t hide at obvious spots.
Don’t fly with the disc in a straight line towards the FT or they can simply predict where you are, shoot you and cancel the flight.
Fly a little different route without wasting too much flight time to make the FT believe you’re standing somewhere else.
Use audio decoys or disciplined specialization, not both.

I never said it can’t be an effective weapon in a lot of situations, or even a fun one at that. I said it’s finicky as hell and heavily punished by lag. I stand by that statement. A simple buff to its flight time would help alleviate most of its issues.

I tend to think that people who complain about the disc needing buffs, lagging etc etc etc are just plain horrible at using it and make excuses.
Not that I’m a disc throwing champion or anything. I definitely need work. It just takes a lot of practice.
I agree, it does take practice, and I believe that if you get good with it it’s a devastating weapon.
Does it needs buffs no, it’s a great weapon and one that requires skill to use but the lagging and other bugs those are legitimate issuse.
I have no idea how you expect people to just git gud past the damn thing teleporting because your ping hit higher than 60 or it just bugging out and auto boosting the second you throw it costing you time that the FT could use to nade you. One of my favorites is when you call it back and it disappears from the map and you’re no longer allowed to use it anymore,
I would actually like to see an option added for the disc to work how it does in the AvP 2010 game where it auto tracks and keeps bouncing off stuff, you just release and forget, to balance it out reduce it’s damage… Or you can switch to manual traditional current control but with more damage…
