Strange exploit with Aim Assist on Controller?
There’s next to no aim assist with hipfire but if you actually aim then there is a slight aim assist. However aim assist on boars is heavily unnecessary lol, like it’s the strongest aim assist for PS players.
To my knowledge the PS4/PS5 is compatible with keyboard and mouse. But hears the thing if you have an extended storage or something occupying the USB ports than you can’t do keyboard and mouse.
The reason is because it takes 2 USB spaces but also the extended USB ports to where you can have like 5 at once also takes up 2 ports. But it doesn’t work because it wouldn’t read whatever you plugged in the extender. So a extender is not worth it…
But also if your talking about the aim assist being able to see a invincible pred that’s normal. Because the aim assist is based off of your left stick not your right stick. (It’s weird) But that’s not an exploit or cheat its just how it was programmed.
I notice aim assist with both, that’s how I discovered the exploit. I thought a pred was on a canopy so I slowly moved my crosshair across the roof. When the hipfire bubble slowed down I’m “wait what the?!” and I shot. There he was.

So wireless doesn’t work at all then? Would explain why only the keyboard is picked up and not the mouse.

I have not tried wireless but I can only imagine the headaches its going to give you…

Yeah it’s not very strong aim assist, compared to the boars which literally yank your screen.
Yeah so far it only reads the keyboard and not the mouse. With my setup though a wired mouse is…very impractical
Just don’t look at the pigs and it won’t happen.
Technically, it’s just rotation assist…
But on the larger point being made here, I definitely agree that a completely invisible predators should not be activating aim assists that would give away it’s position.
The game is hard enough on console the last thing we need is less aim assist.

the fix fall this FPS non-sense. Stop using a controller for FPS. Controllers are good for everything but FPS. For the love of God its time to stop
Have you tried to replicate it with other weapons?
As far as I noticed, the Aim assist depends heavily on your weapon.
The Plasma Rifle for example has the best Aim assist of all weapons, you can nearly consistently get headshots on AI while only using hipfire.
Perks like Weapons Training or Action Hero seem to negate the Aim Assist.
At least that’s what I personally noticed.

Huh, I’ve never done a test like that before. I use scout duelist with weapons training and there’s still seems to be noticeable aim assist. Never tried it with the plasma gun or action hero though. Maybe I’ll give it a try sometime!

20 series card minimum…400 plus dollars amd 5800x 400 bucks… some of us have more money than others.
