Yes it can be shot down in mid air, if you shoot it you’ll get hit indicators. But the fact that you need about two full magazines with the Hammerhead to destroy a disc makes it pretty much impossible while it’s flying around, as you’ll most likely miss many of the shots aswell.
Can also be tagged mid-air. Considering the changes this may be useful for teammates
True, much more useful but imo 3 is too many. I think 2 will be balanced

the main reason I will need to disagree with you is because there’s a common glitch that puts your disk inside trees or under the map where you’ll never get it back.
2.It’s a breakable object and if you lose your out a weapon and forced to use caster or whatever your second weapon is. -
The disk gets stuck on oxygen half the time and without a backup your forced to give away your position and waste time gathering up your disk.
It can not be shot down mid-air.
I think that a necessary change to the disc is that if you hit an already-downed ft member with it, that it should stick there.
That would render the disk useless and no one would use it.
There are 3 discs. Currently, a FT member that has been downed by a disc is a single shot to die. A predator can down multiple FT members with a disc and then either turn it around or throw a second disc to kill them and force it to be a reinforce radio to get them up.
The disk is slow and easy to both hear and see. Out of all the ranged weapons my crew is rarely ever hit by a disk much less downed by one.
Then there should be no issue with my proposal.
Even if you are downed by a disk, the pred could arrow or caster you down again. Using a downed fireteam player as bait is a common strategy. Put damage on the predator and force him to move if you want to solve your problem. No need to cry nerf.
Yesterday you could destroy it in mid air, but it’s near impossible since you’ll miss too many bullets before the disc flies back to the Predator.
maybe thats the balance it needs there. reduce the amount of shots needed to take it down mid air, and give preference to shotguns give them another use.
Disk shotgun damage multiplier of 5x
Would only count when its in the air though not when already lodged in an object.

i think its fair. the disk seems to be very powerful now and so therfore needs a powerful counter.
Not many use shotguns because pistols are better against pred. but if the downside of that was disks become a massive threat then it may make 1 person in the team atleast take a shotgun for disk duty.

randoms or premade? how long have u been playing the game for? on comms? - were they all just potatoes?
I mean be honest… was it a bad team or no matter what you do there was no way to not be hit by it?
Like the video above they are clueless bouncing around and paniked and have no idea what to do!
This doesnt work when the team are coordinated for a start they are far enough apart that a disk cant physically reach all the members!
Honestly it was a bad team I was with. But the Pred was still great. He accepted my 1 v 1 after the rest of my team died and I let him heal in front of me. It was a great knife-dance but the dude got behind me and did a stealth finisher with the disc in hand. It was siiiick. He clearly was toying with us the entire time.
That’s why I love this game. Win or loose, it is moments like those that give a real sense of higher virtues such as bravery and honor on the battlefield. Often the fate of gladiators would be decided by how willingly they fought in the face of death. The coward and those who fought dirty were most likely to be condemned to death from the crowd.
