I see what you’re saying, but the red mist is only during the reload animation. The final straw for me in regard to the plasma pistol was a match I had, where I knocked the mask off early with the bolt action sniper, and the next 3 to five minutes was an invisible predator leaping around and spamming pistol shots. By the time you can tell where the the predator is actually standing, it would just leap. If anybody got knocked down, they just got blasted to death in seconds. That’s not good gameplay mechanics. As strong as the bow is, at least it is more methodical and doesn’t have so much dps and you will eventually run out of ammo if you miss.

A quick fix would be to give the plasma pistol 5 mags, then it’s out. There is no reason why it should have infinite ammo anyway since it is not linked to your cloak, mask, and caster power supply.

I found the one person that thinks Observant is OP because it makes them feel bad about their crap pig n shit recon loadout when you have better situational awareness as a pred just by turning thermal off lol.
Thermal is shit enough and gimps your hearing in a game where everything is directional but yes lets nerf footprints that have a short af render distance anyways due to this game’s lack of optimization. Make thermal just for tagging people and then immediately gets toggled off why not

And imagine thinking the pistol is stronger than the bow because you panic instead of shooting back. So this is the power of ps4 fireteams xd

Definitely not the power of ps4 ft. One person does not speak for any entire community. I love when the pred stands and shoots the pistol. I usually find where its coming from wait for the leap then shoot where it lands. Lol what is with ur hatred with recons. Its the best all around class. Idk man. But one or a few ppl dont talk for the rest of us.

Oh okay lol. The only blance i think the pistol needs is a longer reload time other than that its okay and easily countered cause once a pred players starts getting shot while shooting the pistol they 9/10 start missing shots and go in for the melee

You don’t have time to mud up during an engagement. That when thermal is very useful. Also, thermal can locate med packs and ammo creates to destroy. It’s main use is to tag so there is no problem there, either.

What is better than being able to essentially see mudded FTs?

In regard to the plasma pistol, I don’t think anybody asking for it to be buffed wanted the damage to be increased by 36%. They should have tried an ~15%
increase. That would have been more reasonable given the stealth retention and unlimited ammo.

This exactly its a straight up simple ranged trade because the only way to do damage with the thing is to rapid fire it while they’re turned around before getting shot to peices and hope they don’t shoot back because the pred can’t trade into 2 or more people. The bow can reposition and just go for headshots whenever without losing half your hp to down one person. Then its 3 quick shots on the downed guy

Only the worst predators would do that. The best thing to do when getting shot is to disengage, unless you can get a knock down with one wristblade hit.

Bad predators ruin the balance perspective. Like not running far enough away after getting second winded. It’s like they don’t understand they have that whole red bar to get as far away as possible.

It’s actually not hard to hide yourself and equipment in foliage and ammo crates aren’t obvious, but if your not going to be serious, okay then.

You won’t catch me. I can guarantee that. Even a scout with iron lungs and double time. There will be too many barriers I’ll leap over and I’ll be way too far away behind cover. That’s if you could even put me into second wind.

Yeah but i think they silently change something because i have been running with that little bar in 2nd wind ran till it almost ran out and started to heal and the pred had already roared but the timer ran out and i died even tho i was finished healing

Equipment is insanely obvious how many times have you played the maps to need a giant glowing highlight to see an ammo crate or bright red medkit?
It’s no harder to see those things than it is seeing them when you’re playing FT. Who’s being serious?

Pred has regular FT vision which is dumb as hell imo because there’s no reason to actually keep thermal on in a predator game. Thermal was cool and all when you were learning the map but just no. You can’t even hear footsteps or distant gunfire with it on, it makes tracking all around worse outside of footprints you can hear any sound indicators that pop up from a way farther distance just by having it off.

Preds have calimed that before but a pre made ft will have two chasers and two spotters so you wont get away. Plus every time ur inbmy like of sights ur taken two bullets from my bolt

But you have vaild points in the way you run away in 2nd wind gives a better chance at surviving the 2nd wind but like u said most pred players are not good so they think straight line is the best

As a support or any class that stick on predator… with ak or smgs… you will out dps the predator under 100m. This is PC and on FT… i don’t miss shots. if your FT is potato its you vs pred… which is how most my matches go.
