Forgot to mention this - I’m fuckin addicted from haggis and black pudding. My personal recommendation is Stornoway’s Black Pudding - mate this is some serious flavour going on right there. Mix it with some nice tatties and mashed peas – that is you good to go for the day!

Lithuanians are also nice… in garlick sauce ;-)

Untrue. Per the Thomas Brother’s own legal complaint filed on April 15th:

Under the termination provisions, prior “derivative works” “can continue to be” distributed as before. 17 U.S.C. § 203(b)(1). Plaintiffs’ recovery of the U.S. copyright to their Screenplay therefore does not prevent Defendants (Disney) or their licensees from continuing to exploit prior derivative works, including the original Predator film and TCFFC’s five sequel films.

This means all of the pre-existing Predator works including the original 1987 film will still belong to Disney.

Anything NEW of Predator would be under the copyright ownership of the Thomas Brothers (if they win). And it’s very possible that new Hunting Grounds DLC for Sale constitutes as new.

True, true ;-)

Like new game updates maybe ;-) ???

I’m not certain, but it seems feasible that new DLC created and posted for sale could be perceived as new in the terms of US law. I believe we’d need a lawyer with copyright expertise to chime in to be sure though.

I don’t believe Predator: Hunting Grounds(2020 money machine) DLCs are considered new by any means. If they aren’t contractually obligated by Sony/Disney/20century to produce new original content IP based off the predator franchise, then at least they may be obligated to produce DLC content related to old source material that was discussed well in advance (hense well, anything worked on prior to April 16th would still be produced, but i don’'t think they will look a year into the future, at least until they can sort things out).

I enter the room 😏

I was under the impression that more well known content would have been added from the start 😔 i feel it was obligated with the title alone
