No I donāt consider Panther woke and hereās whyā¦if you change the racial identity of the characters, the story still works. Make Wakanda an alien planet and the plot fits the same. A member of the society is abandoned after his father betrayed the leadership. Grows up in a foreign land, sympathizes and is adopted by the culture and is bitterly resentful of his home culture that could help the one he was adopted into.
