Predator doesn’t have better damage the ft are all tanks (minus maybe the scout and recon) and can all knife the predator if he tries to melee. The nerfed slam pretty hard, and leaping is only good if you need to run away and hardly helps if you have a scout chasing after you if your in 2nd win. The tracking and vision modes aren’t helpful in the actual fight just good for finding the ft. They only just changed the boars prioritizing spawning by pred instead of ft (one of the few good changes I’ve seen recently and one that shouldn’t have changed in the first place) FT all easily have more firepower and definitely do more damage against the predator, predator can’t even get close to the ft to melee cause the keep nerfing predator melee. The keep catering to all the ft mains who cried that pred was op when he’s supposed to be that way he’s an elite hunter who should be able to take out targets with ease if he wants too.

First you asked what advantages Pred had and I answered, everything I listed is an advantage. You aren’t a Pred fighting 4 other Pred’s, that would be completely unfair, would you agree?
It’s a 4v1, there has to be some balance. Meaning the FT players need to win games too. They are other players and if the devs are balancing, to give roughly equal chance for each team to win you should count yourself lucky. They could balance for Pred to only win 1 in 5 but they don’t they balance by team.

You’re an OP predator crybaby main fucking disgusting! But no seriously the buff to the cloak was a bit too much. These fuckers cloak so well up close you can barely see them when sprinting especially when in the sunlight. Also I’m sure the branches got a buff too since it takes so many more bullets to destroy than before, idk maybe I’m just misremembering it or something.
To me it looks like they increased stamina regen and reduced stamina regen while in melee that doesn’t make sense. Having increased stamina regen only helps to escape that doesn’t help in battle, only to run away from ft, it might help in some situations but for the most part that won’t help, and nerfing melee resistance for beserker? No offense to the devs but that’s the dumbest thing ever he’s supposed to be tanky and they just inadvertently buffed Melee for ft against beserker.
I don’t play berserker, so I’m actually the wrong person to ask about the specifics of those changes.
I meant in general this Patch has been fantastic for Pred, overall.
I can’t play my berzerker w trapper medic and large pouch anymore. bummed, they increased perkpoints on medic . healing takes too slow now.
That does suck but least the berserker got a melee and stamina buff, I can finally use the war club and fuck up anyone who’s not a support with thick skin in a few hits especially now with the cloak buff.
We want more content, especially maps. We’re five months into this game and are only really starting to get updates above the March beta - we expect better. This plus lack of comms from the Illfonic guys tends to wind people up, me included.
That might be partially my fault, I’m sorry. I may have made some comments about infinite health Berserkers over the last month.
I’m sure there’s still a few decent Berserker build, maybe someone can suggest there build. (I don’t normally play berserker.)

Why would you talk crap about a Zerker? How did they do infinite health builds? I been running with fearless and impenetrable now. But I do miss my 4 heals 8 traps and fast heal. What perks are you guys running w the zerker? oh and alpha sickle is awesome now. i will try war club later.
Not really infinite, just appears that way. You can heal so fast, whenever you get blood, you just hop on a roof and heal.
Medic, Large pouch make it seem like you can’t keep them bloody.
Someone might have read (I believe it was) Fire and my convo and realized a zerker could have something insane like 6000 HP and healing fast gives you like time to counter.
I should assume it’s my fault but it seemed very likely when I read the patch notes.
OK im going to blame you. Bc that was exactly my strat and I was finally coming up in the Yautja ranks and now I gotta rethink my game plan.
Been running Fearless and Impenetrable. The melee rush with the sickle is fun and going quite well. However now that I cant use medic I have been looking for and using boars way more than usual. Having the predator in 3rd person mode and being able to peer around corners is the main way I can stay hidden. cant really run from them as zerker.

Drop the trapper. You should have enough time to down a trapped FT without it. If not, then there’s still room for you to get better. You can replace trapper with impatient or long jump if point add up
exactly! I’d go even further, i think they should change it up a bit, and give the predator objectives in general, where the fireteam has to stop the pred. i think it would be much more interesting. for example, all the pred tech bring collected by owls, would it not make sense to have a game mode/mission for the predator to recover it, and have the fireteam try and stop the predator and/or the fireteam has to escort pres tech, and the predator has to either has to recover the technology or destroy it. I mean if you read any pred lore they absolutely detest having their tech in human hands, so having a mission or game mode where the predator can do missions like that makes sense. another thing would be having a duel mode, predator vs predator like you said or having several predators vs a superpredator/badblood predator. I feel like theres so much more potential that isn’t being used here, and it could make the game so much more playable. also i think even having a night time version of the game would be good, and would increase the fear factor of the game. I’d honestly play fireteam a lot more if there was a night mode.
