TOURNAMENT "Stay Together Fireteam"

But, they magically appear when a PRED defeats your casuals and boasts about it. Then its, ‘why don’t you face my squad (with broken builds and cheats)?’, followed by ‘it was an easy win, git gud’

I mean I can put a squad together, but what I mean is that there are no teams as in “we’re the so and so team”.

I got you. Its an ‘in case if an emergency’ thing

Interesting that all have to go through playing a pred.

I dunno who you talkin’ about. We play almost every night. Couple private matches a night if we have enough quorum and we are done with the dailies. We do taunt each other, but never go spewing that “i’ve never lost to X player”, because deep down whoever says that we know is lying. Everyone here has lost, for whatever reasons.

Is funny cause I’ve heard a lot of those who say “you can play FT with high ping” lose (as FT) and blame it on ping, which is fucking hilarious…

I assumed it was systemic after seeing it happen to PS players recently

‘…now go away, Mr. Predator, or i will be forced to taunt you a second time…’ (Monty Python)

Yes. That way certain players can not hide behind their Ft.
Plus, it’s only fair that everyone participate on both ends.

Those self proclaimed “top shit players” never lose. I thought you knew that.

Leaving that toxic PC Elite Discord server was the best thing a few of us did.

Ever since I created my own server, I’ve literally had ZERO drama or toxicity there. I am yet to delete a comment or a post on my server.

Actually, as FT ping is your enemy. Not as much as Pred, not even close. But still doesn’t help you… Specially while parrying or sniping fast Preds.

Ping is too easy to manipulate

I’ll pass, personally I feel like you’ve made most of it heavily in your favour to start with even though
“have mastered all the mechanics of playing for a predator.”

Like if you’ve mastered the game then you should be able to find players really easily, that goes for the lowest hp to the highest hp. And I don’t really want to be playing in good knows what ping, just so your end gets smooth gameplay while the Fireteam will suffer through copious amounts of lag. And this isn’t a tournament, it’s a challenge.

Can you give me some hints?
Cause i feel a lot of difference in parrying and sniping whit high ping. Above 80/100 ms ping, i parry less than half the swings and miss half the shots with sniper at long distance… Even if i parry the exact moment the parry message shows or shoot directly at the Pred.

From anything I read due to my Internet being shit at the time , it can fuck up hitboxes basically? Depending on who has the high ping , its like playing catchup .

I played a game the other night and one player had high ping , I was throwing the combi and it was gliding straight through them and not registering .

I play ufc , the servers are complete dog shit and you block a strike but it doesn’t register in time . In games where timing is part of it? I think it just goes out of sync and someone is on the losing end .

basically as ping goes higher and you miss sniper shots as FT, as ping goes high for pred he will miss bow shots and combi-throws… but unlike FT, which only has nades, Pred has plasma, which with splash damage, it can counter ping.

As FT the only way to counter ping is if the pred gets close, but then landing a parry with 300 ping is nearly impossible. Pred can also get close and use the bow at close range and will land almost all shots.

thats tournament

Yeah. I agree.
On my end i feel a lot of difference. With 20ms ping i can parry more than half the melee slashes. With 80ms i can parry 1/3 of the slashes. Basically it’s saying that 1v1 agains the Pred, i have a good chance to survive with low ping, and not much chance with high ping.

That reminded a match i played recently with 120 ping more or less. This Pred was spamming arrows at me, and i was evading them all. He was not even aiming at me (on my POV), but the damage was registered…

It sucks

Some people just only know how to run Scout and bunny hop and spray arrows. Granted, they will win if your FT is a potato caserol trying to run the mission objectives. This has happened to me countless of times. If they had been as aggressive against Scouts then we could have had him. Not easily but we would have him. I think this is where a high powered sniper will shine from a distance while an assault takes him on. A secondary assault would also help, a third will nail him down. Unfortunately the gump forrestry industry is rife with potatoe salad.
