Valkyrie's lack of bullet resistance

Also @SomeknowmeasXeno made a good point in buffing the health of both parties instead of needing the damage.

I mean she is still pretty broken! Idk if she could use a buff or a nerf but she definitely needs a polish up!!

Maybe give her a quicker stamina regen or energy

I mean giving her 6.7 bullet resistance would probably not hurt her.
But we never know what IllFonic is gonna have in mind for the next update in regards of buffs and nerfs.

Why would we increase the health of already tanky parties? It’s boring af to damage your opponent relentlessly to no effect. I think health and damage should be left as is but remove damage resist, increase, and health bonus perks. Stop all that 200 health and 1500+ health bullshit. And stop the insane damage the FT can do in seconds

She really doesn’t need it! She is quick enough to play her the way she is intended to! Which is quick hit and run attack

But what can be done instead is the question?
There needs to be something done. Either they give both parties a buff or a nerf. Which nerfing is meant to be the only last option according to SomeknowmeasXeno. Normally there should be a different way for balance.
Either rework the damage of FT and removing the Passive and active damage resist, increase and bonus perks as you say. Or there needs something to be buffed.

We need @Tony-Pope to bring this to the people’s attention!

Ok, buffing health may sound good on paper, but in practicality, you’d just be smacking each other to no avail until the timer runs out. Like facing a fuckin’ Field Medic team. They. Do. Not. Drop.

Clearly nobody remembers how things used to be.

How valk was before her nerf was not this broken op pred like you keep claiming.

She literally, felt like what the old hunter felt like, before 2.0, when everything went to shit for pred.

I tested it.
A while back, cause I had to confirm,
But before, when balance was better, ft did around 40% less damage.
Which sounds like a lot right?

It’s not as bad as it seems.
I mean even back then, it was still pretty easy to kill preds.

The stats call had, are what a normal hunter should have.
And idk why you cry and say it was unfun to play against and annoying.

All it meant was you had to be careful and pay attention if you went up against a valk.

Before her nerf, valk too a bit more work to kill than others, but for the most part, they died all the same.

But this mentality is why shit wont ever be good for pred.
Everyone Is afraid of the predator character not being a weak piece of shit.

But at this point,
It’s not even like this shit matters.

They want ft to have the advantage, like major advantage, then ok.
But at least make it fun to play.

Ever class should actually feel different, and not just the same format making it seem like sub classes instead of actual sub classes.

Originally, she had 1300 health, so she was in the group

  • samurai
  • berserker
  • Viking
  • Valkyrie

All had more than 1250 health and no damage resistance from bullets.

  • hunter/jh87
  • city hunter
  • alpha
  • scout

All have 1250 or less health and damage resistance.

With Valkyrie having 1200 and no resistance, she is almost equal to Alpha with 1150 + resistance. I think Valkyrie is still in a good spot. Probably, should have left her with at least 13 perk points, but she’s still good.

99 percent of preds are ez just with 1 good ft member.

You put any top players on… youll be lucky to kill one.

Since ft litearlly get owl wolfx 2 with support perks.

honestly i like the way she is now, considering pred specializations dropped, she’d be OP if she had old stats and ghost

Though I still can shake the feeling she should get a damage resistance as well after her health got lowered.

It would make more sense, but, unfortunately, Illfonic seems like they just kind of wing it a lot. For example, scouts with scavenger can just swap their gun in and out of a crate for a permanent 15% increased damage.

Never tried it so I can’t tell much how fast this is.
Though we never know with IllFonic. Hunter and one other class didn’t have the damage resistance either in the beginning and received it after some time.
Maybe she will get it to eventually or they will do something different.

Yeah, I think it would be balanced to give her the same damage resistance, since they nerfed her pretty hard with less health and perk points.

I can clearly understand Samurai, Viking and Berserker having a passive damage increase and no resistance.
But she definitely would deserve a bit more damage resistance.
If so I would say the 6.7 most have would be the best. Nothing less or more.
Scout has the lowest health so damage resistance at 9% makes sense for this class.

It does, however, we still need to do a little more testing surrounding the damage resistance values, as it seems like we’ve noticed that it might vary between the different types of weapons, such as assault rifles, sniper rifles, SMG ‘s, etc.
