Nope its not - xenopedia has it wrong there - shuriken is a throw return bumerang-like blade. Smart disc is a powered smart, rc drone/weapon that can track its targets

Not according to the guy who designed and came up with the concept of the shuriken, which he literally stated as “I wanted to use the smart disc from Predator 2 but I wanted a new design”

Watch the director’s commentary or read the making of AvP.

I’m not arguing this. When it comes to Predator I know my shit.

I will check this out, that would mean that shuriken has its power supply and can track targets? Quz if they are the sam, and smart disc can… HOLD ON - AVP creator? AVP is not canon, fuck avp XDDDDDDDDD

I am pro Shurikens. And pred/human team ups where they communicate via whimsical sign language and run towards the camera together like batman and Robin. 😐

Right because that has never actually happened…ever…in other movies or real life…

And for the record Scar was originally going to communicate via mimicry but they had alot of film cut and budget reduction so they never incorporated it even though the novelization and source script include it.

AvP was actually a decent movie that just had too much corporate meddling behind the scenes. Hell Ridley Scott made Prometheus which is line by line a ripoff of a lot of AvP

Its never been piloted like a drone other than this game though. They just toss it and it boomerangs.

Nope - as per Stans Winston studio its a smart weapon with targeting system and power supply - its not a bumerang, its actually a drone with blades attached to it ;-)
