And for the record Scar was originally going to communicate via mimicry but they had alot of film cut and budget reduction so they never incorporated it even though the novelization and source script include it.

AvP was actually a decent movie that just had too much corporate meddling behind the scenes. Hell Ridley Scott made Prometheus which is line by line a ripoff of a lot of AvP
It personally loved the movie, it was a big clash which people were expecting to happen.
Then why is it “sad” that it’s canon…?

Nope - as per Stans Winston studio its a smart weapon with targeting system and power supply - its not a bumerang, its actually a drone with blades attached to it ;-)
That could be a self contained targetting system though not them literally driving it around like an RC car?
Good point and really hard to say - Stan Winston’s desing was for the weapon to follow its target, but it dose not specifie how and why…
Especially when it bounces off of stuff I find it hard to believe they’re manually steering it while running around.
The one in AVP2010 made the most sense imo, you could kind of influence where the disc bounced by keeping the reticule on the person. Not much different than following a targeting laser.
But the stopping and steering thing in this game really sucks. That should be reserved for an actual falconer drone.

aliens, alien3 and resurection were not so great imo but still watchable

Predator is the best, pred2 is 2nd best, then predators is also good… The predator is meh, if you stop the movie before the last scene lol
thats my eyes and taste, i dont really care about critics and the medias reception of films and games… i often like games and films that are poorly recieved by “reviewers” - this game is a good example lol
