How about this… a pixelated paint skin to represent the old school video game Jungle Hunter. Neca has done a figure of this, I believe. Anyone who has the pre-order code right now gets it for free. Then, some time later they can offer up the normal Jungle Hunter as a $9.99 dlc. I think that’s a fair trade off.
It’s all about making money. The more they make from us, the better off the game will be in the future. It’s either this or the game dies. Or monetary loot boxes. And I’d kind of like the latter to die in a rusted box at the bottom of the ocean.

They can’t really do Mr Black or any of those Super Preds. Do you know how OP they would be? The fact that Royce and Isabelle beat one of them is fucking nonsense as it is.

Very nice. Godzilla and Predator are definitely my favorites. I really liked legendary’s take on Godzilla. But my favorites were always the 90s Godzilla, Godzilla returns through Godzilla versus Destroyah.

See…I personally think an exception could be made for a short time for Steam players to purchase JH. I would have not even blinked if they included him in the Predator bundle
It wouldn’t replace it. It would show up in the skin section of the armor for those that have it. There would be an armor, helmet and skin variant. And then, like a year later, you release the standard Jungle Hunter and boom. Profit. No one misses out on much of anything and all the kiddos can have fun trolling fireteams with a pixel skinned Jungle Hunter.

I’ve personally never cared when anything has been re-released. I don’t get the concern over it, to be quite honest. More people can enjoy it. I have so many pre-order bonuses that have gone paid dlc and I don’t care one ounce.
They can say that all they want. I’m thinking the money going to other parties on the secondary market and the hacked pc unlocks will prove otherwise in the end.
The character sells. Like a lot. Big Chap and Jungle Hunter are two of the most popular monsters in all of existence. And illfonic sells dlc packs.
What happens when Scar, Wolf, Chopper, Celtic, Fugitive, Ahab, Scarface and maybe one or two others are released? There’s really not many movie Predators left. There’s the masks from Predators, but they won’t be full on classes with unique character models. The Lost Tribe? Something tells me sales for most of them would be abysmal compared to something like the AvP Preds.
Sure hackers might find a way to get JH87 but Illfonic would be sued for false advertisement if they released JH87 after advertising him as pre order exclusive. They’d lose millions.
They’d lose absolutely nothing, because the notion that would even make it past an office desk is laughable.
The only way I see them releasing JH87 is if the game itself is re-released as Predator: Hunting Grounds Ultimate Hunter Edition

Anything is possible in all honesty. But the butthurt retorts about suing are a joke. Link me one plausible case where a company lost money from a lawsuit filed against them because of “falsely advertising” an item as a pre-order bonus incentive? I don’t even think EA has been sued over Anthem yet, have they? And that ENTIRE game is one giant false advertisement.
