Been playing this game for nearly a year and I don’t remember a time when pred mains didn’t complain about ft being op.
When was this magic made up balanced period that everyone talks about?

it doesn’t exist this game was never balanced the only questionable period was wether or not the game was well balanced at launch most ft didn’t know what they were doing and few ft guns have been nerfed argueably ft was stronger then than they are now therefore we will never know how well balanced the game was at launch aside from obvious bugs
like leap slam and bunny hopping
if the game was not fun for either side people would not play it
we can tell from que times like when FT had specs for 4 months and pred recieved no updates pred ques plummeted to less than 5 minutes for days
What I get out of all this is that most people don’t like to lose to better players, that’s all.
Correction, most pred mains hate losing to good ft as if good ft should never win.

normally you’d have something the dev’s would do to kind of bridge this gap or make things seem more fair by providing tools or more information something the dev’s fail to do on both ends most of the time

Because that’s the reality of this game.

it’s not the problem is the 90% of people experiancing it due to the matchmaker so now the dev’s have to do something about the percieved unfairness
or they hide it away via the matchmaker like every other game does
but if you implement any kind of ranked matchmaking Pred queues will skyrocket and then you will also complain

How about daily challenges that encourage solo play in pubs?

only time i plasma spam is when a FT member is being an absolute shitter, otherwise i usually stick to the bow and elder sword.

Test was conducted with 1 hit of the 2XL vs Elder Predator.
Support - 111 Dmg
Assault - 122 Dmg
Assault Bane - 135 Dmg
Scout Duelist - 133 Dmg
Test 2 because I wanted bigger numbers and more damage to health for visual comparison.
Test was conducted with 3 hits of the 2XL vs Jungle Hunter 87 (equivalent to Hunter).
Assault Bane - 404 Dmg / 3 = 134.6 Dmg per hit
Scout Duelist - 401 Dmg / 3 = 133.6 Dmg per hit

yeah, I think what you say is probably true, where Pred health is actually a curve and not linear.
