How is a team of highly skilled ft players winning 95% unfair?
Or highly skilled pred mains winning 95% unfair
Because that’s the reality of this game.

it’s not the problem is the 90% of people experiancing it due to the matchmaker so now the dev’s have to do something about the percieved unfairness
or they hide it away via the matchmaker like every other game does
but if you implement any kind of ranked matchmaking Pred queues will skyrocket and then you will also complain
How about daily challenges that encourage solo play in pubs?
that would probably be more helpful than the constent kill ai weekly
TRUE
only time i plasma spam is when a FT member is being an absolute shitter, otherwise i usually stick to the bow and elder sword.

I smell FEAR…
Test was conducted with 1 hit of the 2XL vs Elder Predator.
Support - 111 Dmg

Assault - 122 Dmg

Assault Bane - 135 Dmg

Scout Duelist - 133 Dmg

Test 2 because I wanted bigger numbers and more damage to health for visual comparison.
Test was conducted with 3 hits of the 2XL vs Jungle Hunter 87 (equivalent to Hunter).
Assault Bane - 404 Dmg / 3 = 134.6 Dmg per hit

Scout Duelist - 401 Dmg / 3 = 133.6 Dmg per hit

I’ll take these later and overlay them as is easier to visualize that way. Good job
yeah, I think what you say is probably true, where Pred health is actually a curve and not linear.
Can y’all do these at a distance. I don’t think anyone use the revolver at point blank.
Well, we’ve already did these tests using the damage values at the end of the match. I mostly just rechecked the 2XL and Duelist, because or methods were called into question. If you go to the predator hunting grounds Guide website, you can see all of the specific values for the different properties of every weapon. Are weapon damage numbers were obtained by testing against the berserker, because it doesn’t have any reduction of damage from bullet based Weapons.
For testing buffs and damage bonus perks and specializations is better to test this way, as the results are more consistent.
No, I get it, but I mean for most real life applications damage at a distance also comes in handy.
Oh yeah, but at least I have never bother testing damage at distance because there’s too many variables that affect it.
Hitting different body parts of the pred will yield different damage points. Then you have the accuracy, where you think you are landing half a clip but in reality you landed like 5 shots because of stupid ping. And of course the greater the distance the less damage you yield. And at longer distances is more difficult to pin point if you are hitting a limb, the abdomen (where I do all my tests) or any place where pred has armor. Each one will give you a different result.
I see the game balanced as of right now it can go either way depending on the skill level of the pred, and ft so this topic feels more like a argument pool for people to complain about preds.
This is testable. I’ll focus on this for my next project.
