Why are people hating on the new update?

Stay seething nerds. This game will never be what you’re all crying out for. Accept it or get lost ya sad ass scrubs.

I’m mostly okay with it, I had some fun matches with friends trying out the new stuff together.

2 maps within 4 months is really fucking good in my opinion.

Are you that guy?

Yes.

Personally, I felt that this update was mainly about testing for the future.
Implementation of NRV-E ballistics, STGZ base in the northeast of the new map, and the addition of drones.
These felt like they were asking for testing and feedback on things that would be implemented in the future.

This update was good. I don’t see a meta coming from it or pay to win tactics

There is a mission on the new map where you have to shoot down a drone to get data.
This NPC drone felt like a test for a new type of Enemy or Falconer.

AI improvements for Falcon drones and hounds?

So far it felt like an AI that just does simple tracking and monitoring, so I trust that it may come out with improvements or changes to this.

This is good enough.

The game just needs like, a lot. And we got a little. But it’s a cool DLC none the less

literally and figuratively

like i said long as weapons are not op… its a good starting point on tweaking it. i thinkn its fine because the follow ups are fast.

As much as you can be a troll yourself, this is true and based. We literally have people who talk shit more on the Steam Fourms when they aren’t given enough attention in these forums.

Yea, the update is lacking in certain regards but while I was expecting Headquarters in August, it coming in the June Update to tide people over was a smart move in what would have just been a Isabelle Drop and Bug Fixes.

That being said, the HQ map is pretty visually with big photo mode bait, different functionality wise, and has been fun to play on in both Clash and Hunt.

Don’t think people are hating on the new content, they just know how long this type of content lasts.

At most, the casual gamer after a DLC is dropped for this game might play, a week’s worth max of gameplay? Then move back onto their game of choice.

The DLC needs to be beefier and actual fixes people have been asking since DAY ONE, need to actually be fixed.

Once people start seeing Illfonic care about the little things in their game, compared to just milking the cash cow of the IP, people will also start to care.

If illfonic can’t do anything and it is literally hurting their reputation, why can’t they just choose to not handle this IP anymore?

Using the same old “small team” excuse has SERIOUSLY run its course…
